I came for Lee Min Ki, but stayed for Son Seok Ko. How come I only discover this wonderful actor now? I don't usually enjoy slow, slice of life drama, but this drama's execution of the story and dialogues are sublime. I am enjoying it so much that I can't wait for the next episodes this weekend.
I only started this drama this weekend, and I actually really enjoyed it. It is easy to watch and it gets better every episode. I am in love with Mr. Gu, he is so cute despite being a broken man. I hope he will get a happy ending with the FL, MJ.
I wouldn't say that being 'half spirit' gave him any specific advantages, but personally I do feel like his character…
I agree with you. In the beginning, I found him to be an annoying grim reaper, but since he's a rookie, I guess he has to learn the ropes. But as the drama progress, I can see that he does contributed to the team in his own way. This is my first time watching Rowoon, and I am quite impressed by his acting.
The reason I watch CLOY was Hyun Bin, and the reason I stayed was the gang of 5 North Korean soldier guys that made this drama so much fun. The bromance in this drama made it so much better. I would still re-watch CLOY on my sad & down days. It's the magic of this drama... hehehe...
Thank you for a well-written article. I just started watching Tomorrow drama this weekend, and I really liked it. I love the fantasy genre, and I am looking forward to watch this until the end.
I generally enjoy this light cute drama except for the domestic violence part done by the FL to the ML. She chases him around with a butcher's knife, threaten him too. She actually punched him in his face, twice, & he got blue-black eyes!! Perhaps slapping his face maybe OKish because he offended her... but threatening daily beating after they are married?? Maybe it is funny that a tomboyish FL is being physically abusive to her nerdy meek wimpy husband/ML. But if it was the other way around (ML being abusive to FL, etc., just for laughs), I think we will get more protest from the viewers. This is my personal opinion. I wish there is less domestic violence or abuse in these TV drama shows.... Sigh... I have watched up to episode 10 so far, and I am hoping the FL improves with her treatment of the ML.
I am one of those people who are fed-up and dropping dramas lately because nothing much can entertain me. But Business Proposal kept me hooked from the moment go (I cannot forget Samantha and Rachel.... hahaha) and I looked forward to Mondays all the time. But now that Business Proposal is over, I hated Mondays again... hahaha... Also Congratulations on a well written article. Keep it up!
The cast looks so promising. Just can't get enough of Deng Wei in period setting and looks like we'll be spoiled…
I don't like the actress playing the FL - she was not good in Dance of the Phoenix. I hope she has improved her acting for this new drama. I hope her fans don't attack me for this. This is just my opinion. LOL...
I felt the ending was rushed, and I felt let down. Does this make sense? After the final episode, I said to myself, IS THIS IT? Where is the wedding? The closure where Taemu's grandpa meets Hari's parents, the couple's honeymoon? I wonder if the director will make 1-2 special episodes for closure; like the way they did for Mr. Queen. I just wonder and hope. LOL...
I have watched up to episode 10 so far, and I am hoping the FL improves with her treatment of the ML.
