This Jerome actor really look a lot like Hu Yi Tian but a better actor, (sorry HYT fans, I just can not with his…
When I watched the 1st episode, I thought the ML was Hu Yi Tian but then I realised he looked better than HYT. Hahaha... BTW he is such a good looking slave....LOL
so i'm in the minority here, but victoria song is absolutely the best part of this drama. i couldn't care less…
I agree with you. So far, the Victoria Song is good for this drama. Also this is the first time I watched her in a drama. I don't know why viewers don't like her. Perhaps it's just like me not liking Esther Yu in her dramas. Hahahaha....
Where can I watch this drama? Why don't Netflix buy this drama and screen it worldwide? I saw clips of it on TikTok and I really wanted to watch this funny drama
I put this drama on hold because I was watching other good dramas at the same time. Now I really have to finish Season 1 and then wait to see if Season 2 is worth it. LOL...
I really like your comments and I truly understand her character. I know there are viewers hating her for her harsh/rash behaviour, but I am loving it. Maybe because I am a more mature viewer and understands the highs and lows of life, the joys, pains, of betrayals and learning to trust people again, etc., etc. Also, I don't mind the age gap between the leads. Overall, I am liking this drama, because I like Ding Yu Xi in this drama. LOL....
Can Yeesoon be more disgusting???? How she had the audacity to climb onto his bed? Why is he so stupid and thinks…
I reached this episode and I was shocked that the witch slut is shameless. Kamduang is so pissed off that the witch is trying so hard to steal her husband. Lol 😂
Dang - I had to use VPN Thailand to watch this show on Netflix. But it’s not good. sometimes the VPN breaks down. I really wish that Netflix will show this Thai drama worldwide. WTH is Netflix doing??!!!
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty (2025) - Critical Review and big problem (Important)Pacing and Repetition IssuesThe…
These critics are being unfair. They say the drama is too slow, has too many flashbacks, and too many close-ups — but this is a sageuk, not a Marvel movie. Slow pacing allows viewers to feel the emotions properly. Flashbacks are there to deepen the impact of key moments, not to drag the story. Close-ups are essential in historical dramas. We need to see the king’s eyes and trembling lips to connect with their emotions. Complaining about them is like asking for less emotion in a love story. The show is literally called Bon Appétit, Your Majesty. Of course there are many food scenes — they are central to the story and to the emotional and political themes. As for historical inaccuracies, we are not preparing for the CSAT Korean History exam. Most viewers watch for the court intrigue, the forbidden romance, and the culinary artistry, not to check the exact period of a teapot. If you want a strict history lesson, there are documentaries for that. This drama is meant to be savored slowly, like a royal meal.
Romance junkies go watch Coroner's Diary, you are rating this one for the wrong category.Others, welcome to one…
I have not started this drama yet, actually I started episode 1 and then stopped halfway because I am watching too many dramas now. And because I couldn't get the main ML's Duke Su image from The Double out of my head....Hahaha... Is this Wanted Detective similar to Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty? I love this one and I watched both seasons because they were very interesting.
I have watched the first 3 episodes and I am loving it. Cheng Lei looks so much better here (he also worked out/bulked up his body for this role...LOL). He and Song Yi have good onscreen chemistry, and she is a more convincing general to be. Lookng forward to finishing this new drama.
