There has not been one episode where I did not cry. And ep 14 was one of the worse, the tears just kept on flowing....…
To be honest, I cried every episode of this drama. I think I cried the most in my life for a K-drama is this Hi Bye Mama, this proves that the acting, writing and story-telling are really good. I hope it will be a happy ending but I am not sure how the writers will do it
I'm saying this because as it going is following the original series the major part of the time
Don't worry too much; there will be Season 3 of BBC drama Doctor Foster and there is hope that everyone will get their happy ending or revenge or best rewards..... whatever. Hopefully, it is happy ending for Dr Foster because she has suffered a lot
I am really disappointed with this Japanese version of "You Are My Destiny" story. The whole drama series seemed rushed and compacted into 10 short episodes, and the production looked cheap and just bare essentials, when compared to the Taiwanese, Korean and Thai versions (I have not seen the mainland Chinese or Philippines versions, if any). SERIOUSLY?? If the Japanese do not have the budget to re-produce the same drama, why bother? And 10 episodes is not complete, unless they plan to produce Season 2 as well....Huffff, pufff, so upset....
Indeed - Chinese women really have to start raising their expectations!!!
I've noticed that in Chinese dramas, the main males leads are either asked to act as cold-heartless-wooden super-model-like man or silly-goofy-bratty-childish man-child. That's why sometimes the second lead actors acted better (hahahaha)
Hahahaha..... your comment ""Jing Ci deserves an award for best characterization ever of a plank..." really gets me. But then most male leads in Asian dramas are usually asked to act as planks.... XD
I actually did not want to watch this drama in the beginning because of the poster of the young lead actors vs. the synopsis. But someone persuaded me to try to watch first few episodes and eventually I was hooked. The chemistry between Allen Ren (as Lu Yi) and Seven Tan (as Jin Xia) was great, and their cute sweet interactions made this drama worth watching. Their character development throughout the series, and their slow-burn romance made this show really entertaining. My only complaints are the poor quality CGI and special effects in the show. Luckily this was made up by the good story-telling and many comedy moments.
Never have I skipped so much scenes of the second main characters (Yang Yue & Shang Guang Xi)! Can't believe they…
I also have the same complaints like you. I fast-forwarded the scenes of the 2nd lead couple too. Waste of time and so boring. I wanted to see more of the main couple, they are so cute and sweet together
The female lead looks too old for James, and she is not even that pretty. Plus I find her too bitchy for James. Ah well, maybe no pretty girls are good enough for James..... hahahaha
I have read in the media about school bullying and how terrible it is - to the point that the bullied students even committed suicides. Despite the deaths and evidences of bullying, the school and authorities did nothing to stop the bullying. Hence, when I watched this drama, I get the satisfaction that the Angry Mom took matter into her own hands and dished out the punishments. Off course, this is just K-drama fantasy, but I hope that the public will take these school bullying more seriously and protect the young students from these form of sadistic and painful torture conducted by the mentally sicked minded students and people.
I decided to finally watch this popular drama after overcoming my aversions to seeing half-bald long pig-tailed hairstyled men... LOL... After watching The Yanxi Palace drama, I got used to the looks of men during the Qing Dynasty era.
I love this drama. It was one of the first few Korean dramas I watched, and I feel in love with the ML (Yo Seong Ho) because of his cute sweet face that can express so many emotions. He is a good actor and he can pay his role well as the very lonely millionaire who fell in love with a human-like robot. I have watched this drama several times already, and I enjoyed it everytime
I'm liking this . Only on episode 3 though. The problem I'm having with this drama is that the music is louder…
You are right. It was very annoying that the music was louder than the dialogues. Even though I don't understand chinese, I like to hear the dialogues because if I turned off the sound, it is like watching a silent movie and I have no patience for that
