It's best to watch the first 3 episodes then skip to 20...won't be quire as frustrating.
Hahahah...seriously? I think I will agree with you because most lakorns I have watched so far are like this. Watch first few episodes and then skip to the last 2-3 episodes. Avoid all the drama, anger, frustration, the WTF moments, etc., etc.... LOL
Hurray! Another drama with Park Min Young again. I am looking forward to this then, because I will watch any K-drama with PMY in it. I love her since "Something Wrong with Secretary Kim", "Healer", and "Her Private Live". She always has great chemistry with the male leads and makes the dramas more interesting.
One of the tropes that I hate is where the female lead (FL) is always accused of "seducing" the male lead (ML), even though the ML was clearly doing the chasing, or nothing actually happened but everyone and the public misunderstood them. The FL gets blamed for everything that happened to the ML, and I just cannot take it. :P
Yeah, this drama is now on Netflix. So now I watch more of Yeo Jin Goo, because I like him as a great actor and he's so cute and sweet.... Heheheh.. :))
I was not drawn to this drama at all. Although I love the FL, Ha Ji Won, I felt that this kind of drama does not suit her. Perhaps I am biased because I love her in more action-oriented dramas where she gets physical and fights. She is really good in martial arts. Anyway, after reading your article, I will give this Chocolate drama a try.
I still could not figure out why this drama is super highly rated. I tried to watch it up to 10 episodes, and I still cannot get into the story. Perhaps I should watch it after watching Go Go Squid (which I ended up liking after struggling for several episodes wondering why it was also highly rated)
I ADORE both lead actors, but I'm not really feeling the "romantic" chemistry. The second couple is more juicy.
I also love both lead actors, and I have always loved Hyun Bin since Secret Garden (which I watched multiple times - only the funny cute scenes). This is the first time I've seen Son Ye Jin and I like her performance. Perhaps there is no clear/strong "romantic chemistry", but rather, I feel the "sweet/flirtatious chemistry that sparks a slow burn that leads toward romantic feelings". In the beginning I don't like the FL character, but I warmed up to her eventually and I find Ye Jin's acting of a helpless but determined South Korean heiress to be convincing. Maybe it's just me. :-))
Another prosopagnosia-related drama? Seriously? The concept was good at first read, and then the FL has prosopagnosia. Dang, this will be another boring drama
When will they do Queen of Mystery 3 because the last one has a cliffhanger? I miss him as the cute funny detective in Queen of Mystery. PLEASE HAVE SEASON 3 OF QUEEN OF MYSTERY !!
I had a hard time starting this drama. I actually struggled for the first 5 episodes because there is nothing interesting to rope me into it. However, I kept watching and then I slowly warm up to the ML (he's super handsome and sexy in black outfits, anyway... hehehe). I like the character development of the ML, understood his past that made him the way he is, and delighted in him slowly falling in love with the FL, and how much he cared for his team. I think the best part of the drama is the brotherhood between the team members, both Solo team and K&K team. There is not much angst (except for the FL's mum non-approval of the love relationship). Overall, very surprisingly, I got to like the drama and fell in crush with Li Xian (the ML).
Oh dear, another Korean historical drama to go through. So far, this drama started out with some loud bang (literally!), followed by a short sprint, and then some brisk walking through Episode 4. I like the ML so far, he makes a nice but totally useless and powerless King; however, I love his sexy low voice though. As I watched, I am wondering why the citizens are so poor, the city (or is it village?) so shabby and the streets mostly empty even during the day. If these are the case, how did the royalty and nobles got so rich when there seem to be no good businesses to support the economy? These are just my rambling thoughts as I watched the drama... LOL....
The problem with many Chinese dramas is that there are many silly or stupid act cute scenes that turns me off…
I totally agree with you. One of the reasons I don't like to watch Taiwanese drama is that many of the so-called cute or funny scenes ended up being childish, and it is really cringy to see adult actors acting like spoilt brats... LOL
I like this drama so much and I love seeing the funny attics and adventures of Khun Suam (FL) and Khun Rut (ML). They are such a cute and loveable couple, and I want to see more of them. The ending says they were requested to do undercover work together as a couple. Will there be a Season 2 in the future? I hope so !!
