I've watched him since Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds as that really appealing but misunderstood step brother. I've waited for his releases since then + the unreleased one with Krystal... I knew then he was gonna be huge! And now I'm still in love. He's a great character that could make any portrayal believable. I'm so proud he's getting even more projects for the next 2 years. I'm hoping for a movie soon!

Seriously tired of JR for being this much of a coward. Come on, it was your idea to keep it from your mother in the first place while your girlfriend was bothered by it for days. And now you couldn't possibly defend her against your mother and take responsibility? And YET you wanna get married with your mother controlling your life like this? And THEN he even asked her to quit her job so they could spend more time together? WTF is wrong with him?

Asian parents are really like that .... Seriously? That's rather horrible. I cannot imagine parents discriminating…
Yes. It's really that bad. I'm not even Chinese, I'm Southeast Asian. Still. Asian parents, especially really old ones, see daughters as a waste of resources which is the entire root problem of why girls didn't get much education.

Sons will finish all through college and daughters will be forced to withdraw after middle or high school. My mother was fortunate enough to finish college, though she really wanted to be an accountant, but her parents (my grandparents) forced her to take nursing instead just so there'd be someone in their family who'd take care of them when they're older.

It's a pity, really.
