Watched this coz of PHS. Been stalking his past shows since discovering him. Was happy for him while the show lasted. Hope they continued to be friends outside of the show..
My gosh. Watched parts in raw since I am seriously stalking Park Hyung Sik LOL. Didn't understand a thing, but it felt tense and gruesome. I just wanna hug baby HyungSik to bits. I wanna watch full episodes in English, but I dunno if I can watch PHS in that environment. Huhu. I just hope the military is treating him well. I miss him in KDramaland so bad LOL
Such a beautiful short movie. Wish it was longer. But this movie has made me appreciate how blessed we are to be able to see the world and the people we love. Wonderfully acted. And glad to see more of PHS's piano skills..
My initial reason for watching this movie was to see my love, Park HyungSik, in yet another acting wonder. Indeed, he was as always. He can just portray whatever character is thrown at him and own it. Glad he won an award for this. His presence alone made the movie interesting! But as the movie progressed, I found myself so engaged with the storyline, the characters, and how it would end for the defendant. Enjoyed the balance of emotions. I kinda shed a tear or two with the ending. Loved this movie!!
Sidenote: Hope they showed PHS's character years later as well. I wonder bout his business. His product was instrumental for the jury's verdict so it oughta be successful. The writer owed him that, IMO. LMAO.
Watched and completed coz of PHS. I am a new fan who got to know him via SWDBS so here I am going all thru his humble beginnings. You could really tell that he was meant to shine this bright. I just can't help but feel utterly amazed at PHS's acting skills. He can pull off so many emotions, and has the ability to use his eyes to convey his feelings. To think, he was still a newbie actor at this time. His crying scenes were just as amazing as his funny/cute/richy rich scenes. His breakdown scene was my favorite. It looked so genuine... and those tears coming out of his oh so beautiful and expressive eyes (his lashes are to die for). Haaay!!
His chemistry and his storyline with Ji-Yi kept me glued. I could care less about the drama between the main couple and YH's dysfunctional family.
Completed this all for the King! His journey to the throne was my reason for watching. Plus, my bias is Park Hyungsik. He looks damn good as King! I can't help but root for him. Hahaha!
Only if we have more scenes of the brotherhood rather than the love angle. This drama would have been perfect.
I am so happy I stumbled upon Strong Girl on Netflix or I would never discover PHS. I am really so not into Asian dramas other than Deng Lun's CDramas, but glad I did look and fall in love. He is so handsome, hot and cute all at the same time. Plus he is so talented. His acting is on point. He sings, dances, plays instruments and all. Kinda sad, he is currently in the Military, but I will be waiting for his future projects after his discharge. Meanwhile, I will be catching up.. even his idol days. LOL
pretty sure he's dubbed, which is for the best. they released a clip with his own voice and it didn't go so well…
Thank you! From someone who doesn't know anything Mandarin, I can't really gauge the effect of his accent and diction with the scene LOL. But the tone of his voice does feel mismatched with the scene. His voice would suit a modern drama, maybe.. He just needs to get his accent standardized? Still, the dubbed voice sounds so unnatural too! Yikes!

Oh! Do you have that clip? Just wanted to know how it feels like to watch a drama with his own voice.
With my bias, Deng Lun.. I just can't imagine a drama with his voice dubbed. LOL. Hopefully one day, we get to hear Didi's own voice in his dramas and be well received by the audience. Aww.
Finally finished this drama (thanks subtitles)! I agree with the reviews above regarding the storyline and characters. As for Deng Lun, what can I say? He is such an amazing actor! I can't even begin to explain how he makes me feel when I see him onscreen. And with all my biases included, any drama becomes better with Deng Lun in it! Forever a fan LOL
I’m at ep 38 and still enjoy seeing Deng Lun’s great portrayal as Lang Yue Xuan. The storyline at times is…
Same! No matter how bad the story can get as long as Deng Lun is on the screen, everything feels better. Thanks to his wonderful portrayal of the characters he plays. LOL. I just love DL so much I guess haha
Will continue to watch this one too. I still am engaged with the plot. I want to know the answers to questions like who are YX' real parents and stuff. Plus, I like the main leads' chemistry.
Waaa! I tried that Yoga VPN. It says I am connected, but when I go to the Play Store (using Android system), it says it still isnt "avail for DL in my country." I am stuck LOL
And thanks to this drama... I was introduced to such an amazing actor, Park Hyungsik! I can't get enough of him now.
