I only "watched" the parts where DL was on it so I didn't really get the whole gist. There was a love interest for a time, then he became a soldier. It was a tragic ending for his character tho. But his acting is great. I think he got praises for his portrayal there.

Funny how they promoted the Investiture of the Gods as if it was a Deng Lun filled show. But yeah, wishing the same for the fox demon and daji LOL

I am still in epi 4 on the Keyman. Maybe I should skip to epi 12 before the subtitles disappear. LOL. Thanks!!

And even in dramas with no subtitles like White Deer Plain and Investiture of the Gods, I kinda watch just his scenes. His portrayal was so good that even if I don't understand the language, I understood what he was going thru at least. HAHA.

Yes! I tried watching that as well, but since no subtitles, I can only base it on his visuals and actions LMAO. It would have been a great watch coz it hits close to home. I would love to know about him through that. But sadly, no subtitles.

Now that I am introduced to the world full of Deng Lun, I wish I can understand Mandarin so bad. LOL

Oh and yes to variety shows! He is soooo endearing in those. I already watched Dad Where are We Going, and currently working on Whose the Keyman as both have subtitles mostly. Hehe.

Besides the iconic Ashes of Love, which by the way I can rewatch a million times LOL..

Heck I think I tried watching all the dramas and even the variety shows listed here. If only all of his shows have subtitles. LMAO. The best so far are Sweet Dreams, and Because of Meeting You. He was lead in those dramas and was so dreamy in both. And even in dramas where he played supporting roles, he still managed to shine like in Promise of Migratory Birds, Princess Agents and Ode to Joy.

Oh gosh! He is so addicting. I can watch him all day. LMAO

Besides his great acting ability, he's got one of the nicest smiles in the industry. So enchanting. Super gifted in ALL aspects.

I thank Netflix for introducing me to Cdramas and especially to Deng Lun LMAO.

But part of his happiness is ZZ so he better be with her at the end. I just had it with JR and his mom. And now Mr. Mu seems like a jealous bad guy in the making LMAO

Hopefully tho his happiness does not come until the very last episode.

Deng Lun is clearly one of the best Chinese actors of his generation. Truly versatile and dynamic in his portrayals

I am getting frustrated with the story as well. We are running around in circles. Deng Lun's portrayal of his character is the only saving grace of this show. He deserves happiness and love, but with 18 epi left, it might feel rushed. He even has to go through his father's health issues, company's problems, and how he will rise from it all. So goodluck with that...

But I am not dropping this because after spending all these time wishing for SPC to be happy, I must see it through that it happens. Haaaaay.

I do hope so. Coz right now, my heart bleeds for SPC. Like WTF, he got sick and was brotherzoned. ????????????

I hope too, but I highly doubt. I am just glad they advertised this as if the fox demon is part of the lead. And this series is actually doing well... DL's star power may have contributed bunch ????

Just saw clips of the first 2 episodes.. and though I am still waiting for subs, I like the feel of Deng Lun's character. I so love the guy! He is handsome and an amazing actor. My sole reason for watching.

I just recently discovered DL via Netflix' AOL and since then I can't get over him. I am beginning to watch his other dramas and I can't for his upcoming dramas. Sooo many! I am so happy for him. He seems like a hardworking lad and I wish him all the successes. He is sooooo fine! ????????
