IKR?! The picture of them walking under the rain and the kiss looked like it happened on the same day. This may be the episode where SPC will finally have his love for ZZ requited. Eeee!!! I can't wait.

From what I read, this was the actual reason why it was pulled out. Awww, I wanted to know what happened to my fox demon.

I just read an explanation as to why even the 2-episode finale was not shown as well. Firstly, they compressed the remaining 10 episodes into 2 in the hopes that they can show it for closure. But even then, the censorship stopped the network from showing the 2 episodes. Apparently, this drama was an insult to the classic literature with all the changes they made to the story.

I hope one day, we still get to see the full 10 episode ending. They can just show it online if possible.

Saw that supposed kissing scene too. I got a lil excited! It was so blurry tho. Hahaha

Most of the discussion here on this board provide a detailed summary. You can reference to that. The pace of the major plot has really been slow. The action, I feel like, starts at around episode 30. Prior to that, we get mostly side stories from the families they assist and the supporting characters' lives. The major plotline revolves around JR-CZZ's awkward relationship arc, and SPC's hidden feelings & his character development.

The FF button will be your best friend, but just continue watching. It is actually getting exciting now on its last stretch. LOL

Thanks for the lowdown of the last 2 epis plus the preview. I have yet to watch the epis. Glad JR-ZZ are over. It was never love. LOL. Oh the next epis will be a tearjerker for SPC. I can't wait for Deng Lun to show his acting chops. Yay!!

There goes the difference between SPC's love and JR's love for ZZ. For the next 14 episodes, bring it on! LOL

Deng Lun's popularity is real. Besides his matinee idol status, he is one of the better acting actors of his generation. I think he is one of the biggest stars in China right now based on his Weibo followers, star list rankings, endorsement deals, crowd power, TV ratings of his shows and projects given overall. Sadly, China is pretty exclusive with their use of Social Media platforms. They are mainly concentrated on China made platforms like Weibo so we don't really see much on websites like these. He is now beginning to get more worldwide recognition I feel like via Ashes of Love being shown on Netflix.

After MTL, hope this gets shown as planned. Love how Deng Lun is all over this year!

I think part of the reason why ZZ and JR are not seeing eye to eye is because ZZ does not really love JR. They got together and are even on the verge of marriage without knowing each other. She is just stuck in the thought of wanting to be together with him due to their history. She wanted to be the perfect girlfriend for the man she imagined him to be; hence, the stiffness around him. Not to mention the presence of her annoying future mom-in-law adds to that stiffness and awkwardness LOL. Whereas with SPC, they jived from the start with no pretensions (except hiding his identity) and spent most of their times together so they are natural around each other.... and that maybe the thought of not spending time together scares the shit out of the both of them. SPC obviously. ZZ just doesn't realize it yet..
