I understand the sentiments of all the people who said that the romance felt slightly rushed and that they did…
I agree! It is obvious that time has indeed elapsed since the break up. More events have happened between episodes 36 to 48 versus 1 to 35. Thus, it might feel rushed/too fast for a casual viewer because the writer was so redundant on the earlier episodes and focused A LOT of those episodes on showing the relationship that was built on perception... then suddenly be bombarded with all these big moments towards the last episodes. But for a viewer, who really partook in the OTP's journey, there was really a shift in emotions when the romantic feelings developed between the two. We could tell the changes.. the differences.. the nuances in how their friendship blossomed into true love. We could only wish for more, but the drama has come to an end. If only season 2 is possible... but who knows. LOL. The story of SPC and ZZ is not yet finished, and writers can easily pen another season. ;-)
Nevertheless, like I said in my earlier post, I really enjoyed this drama although there are still things left to be desired. Shao Peng Cheng has really left a mark in my heart! I will miss him! Glad he got a happy ending (like a drama should IMO. Not a fan of open ended / sad kinda endings LOL).
Deng Lun was such a joy to watch! I have never been a fan of an actor like how I am stanning this guy right now. What an awesome human!
To everyone whom I intereacted here in this forum, hopefully we see each other again on the next Deng Lun drama.. although we can always come back on this board when we rewatch our fave episodes. LOL

It still feels surreal that the drama is ending today (Chinese time zone) just when I am beginning to enjoy their moments together.. They are so cute!
There were just too many episodes focused on a love angle that we all knew wouldn't end happily. I wish the writers gave the main OTP more episodes as a couple, and show that despite that, all 3 remain as true friends LOL. But it is what it is. We are down to one last epi. I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
I am just happy that as a fan, this drama has once again proven Deng Lun's versatility and prowess. Looking forward to his next drama..

But now that we are here, I will take their love story coming into fruition in the remaining 4 episodes... all for the love of SPC LOL. They look so cute in that bridge scene! My issue tho, the twitter video was in broad daylight with different set of clothing. I wish that was another kissing scene, like that is their thing when they kiss hahaha

I am looking forward to this. DL seems to be able to exude chemistry with all his female leads, albeit different intensities. LOL. IMO, Somehow if FL lacks in the acting skills, DL is able to make up for with his. That is why I love him to bits hehe

I can see why Deng Lun took this role as a project...His character here is the most dynamic here in the modern…
I think Deng Lun is the type of actor who doesn't hesitate to take up a role. His acting would make up for the lack of dynamics in a character. But as SPC, his character indeed has the most growth, and we, as viewers, were taken into that journey with the way he portrayed the role.
