I like the political stuffs from S2 more than S1 but I think you probably should expect different things from this spin off. it’s much more focused on the character instead of the cases. Stranger is a traditional show that its main focus is the cases. This spin off drama, even from the name itself, can tell the focus is his journey. so it’s more interesting to see how he as a character would make different choices compared to most typical main leads. if you see it from this angle maybe you can enjoy this show more :)

absolutely but men like this certainly has low self esteem inferiority complex and feel like he’s being looked down so when a woman is looking up to him all of the sudden he feels powerful again. terrible man

because there are terrible people in any gender and it doesn’t mean all people from that gender sucks. the story clearly centered around new friendships and women supporting women, empowerment among themselves in a very conservative society/ community. also, 20-25% of marriage faced infidelity at some point, meaning every 4 people 1 person cheated or been cheated on. dramas are about stories we see in life that’s what you see here. life happens and infidelity certainly happens a lot.

I love it when he said “smoke more, smoke more so you die faster. which kind you wanna smoke to reach death?” lol I love it when ML FL are both fun and likable!

I hope more people realize this show’s name is Good Partner, and this is the reason why I like this show so much. it’s not only SFL growing and understanding the world of marriage and parenting isn’t as simple and black and white as she thought it would be, but it’s also FL growing and reflecting after her interactions with SFL. they are both becoming a better version and softening and meeting at the middle ground.

I think some may be like what you said, but that’s not true for also a lot of the other viewers who want to see more of romance scenes. it is not to see FL dancing around ML lol not sure if you have actually watched the series in full, the problem isn’t FL isn’t falling in love with ML or indecisive between two men, the problem is simply there’s no development or depth between ML & FL lol this is still a romance story with FL ML ended up together but 8 episodes passed they barely know each other in depth. each other’s traumas, stories, thoughts, values, connections, the writer needs to give it time to properly develop in order for the ending to make sense. viewers need to care about the protagonists and root for their relationship. I actually like the FL a lot, the problem is simply there’s not enough depth to their relationship still at a drama’s mid point. yet, the drama wrote way more actual conversations and slowly building FL & SML’s understanding to each other. they have real communication and connections.

surprisingly good pilot! the pace and humor hits well with the right amount of light and hearts so far! the ML character is way more fun and interesting than I expected from previews! and surprisingly ML FL has a lot of chemistry in their very short encounters.
