I am not understanding the ep2 recap of ep1 because it gave out so much more new information??
her translator job, her monologue of how she feels now and then, what actually happened during those events and that all the boys confessed and what they said, she dropped school, her dad found her “bff” to talk, her dad talked to dongjin, dongjin cleaning up the chair for her name, dongjin graduated and tried to talk to her, her “bff” tried to make up and gave her the graduation book with her picture stick on it, she’s gaining the habits of feeding cats (the cats don’t die), her dad’s incident, her dad fighting the villagers and dongjin’s mom knowing what happened, the villagers saying mijeong “seduced” the men, her dad mouth wound, mijeong left the village. Eveeyting can be a hint and clues to the events. if you just want to “know” what happened, literally a story can be told in a paragraph. it’s the details that’s being shown give audience a chance to feel it through emotions and not just “know” it.
these all are the important rooting for dongjin’s actions in the future.
You forgot to add "in my opinion", because you're opinion is worth nothing outside of your mind.
it’s not just talking about the same events. it was clear for the two sided POVs and how much MiJeong’s POV added context to the events and we now understand her side of the story. plus it had a lot of new info in ep2 too? it was necessary to take the audiences through the deaths and all so we can emotionally feel how she feels instead of “knowing” what happened to her. it is a big rooting for the future events (me as a webtoon reader)
At first the rating started at 4.2. it was voted by haters and slowly people voted normally for it to raise back but the initial haters ratings still here to drag it down. (4.2 right after an episode ended was clearly hates not testament to the quality of the show). it even garnered a hot post in knetz about how well its directed and acted.
What are u talking about? I can't say for her other shows since I haven't watched them but so far she's done a…
I was one that found her bad in hierarchy and dropped. I think she’s very suiting for her role here and it’s convincing enough for me, understanding how her character is
if people skip the “repeated” scenes in ep2 that’s why you will think it’s a recap because it added a lot more details to the same scene. that’s probably why you think it’s the same - cos you didn’t actually watch it 😅
I almost gave up in the first 10 minutes. It didn’t grab me, and I had no idea where it was going. For me, it…
I think that’s how Kang Full’s story feels like for the most part. “slow beginning at first” but it certainly isn’t a immediate dramatic style. but his story always gets more intense as it goes on
They should've called it "The Cursed" because "witch", even in Asian context (I'm Asian obviously), a "witch"…
I think it’s playing a bit of “witch hunting” and that many of those people will say “she seduces the men” like a “witch” instead of understanding it’s not her fault
these all are the important rooting for dongjin’s actions in the future.
