seeing people calling dongjin a stalker, in fact Kang full originally wanted to name the webtoon “stalker” before so it’s fully aware of the action is “stalking”. he changed it to “the witch” to show Mijeong’s POV. however - I think the main difference here is, his action is a result of learning it is indeed dangerous to be in touch with Mijeong. Remember dongjin was trying to prove her innocence so he did a in-depth analysis (with his college instructors coaching) and noticed the pattern is indeed unusual, and realized she may truly be cursed? With this knowledge, he is fully aware if he approach Mijeong, it can harm him. That’s the reason why in the adult encounter, he couldn’t just mindlessly approach her. if he didn’t know about the danger - he would have approached her like a normal person instead of “stalking” and then he will just die lol The behavior was driven by the knowledge of “getting in touch with her is dangerous so he should approach with caution and preparation” is the key here.

i think this is a very different type of romance story because of the setting - mijeong is cursed and if dongjin talks to her he will die lol so we can’t expect the same type of leads meeting up and falling for each other. but as the story unfolds, you will understand why it has the romance tag 😂their gazes alone - will be full of love and emotions

main is typically the first mentioned genre, as in it focuses more on mystery than romance, it is not to say it’s NOT part of its genre. Mystery is much heavier but the romance comes after understanding the mysteries. (coming from a webtoon reader and one who watched the director interviews)

in the webtoon it is the same world but not related to the rest of the story; it’s a standalone story. in terms of drama, it is not part of D+’s Kang full universe (in terms of drama production releases)

I don’t think so. I think ep3 is to explain why male lead is willing to do so much for female lead. in case of this story, the main protagonist from webtoon is ML as well (cos we need to see how he figure out her curse)

why do people find ep3 boring? lol I really don’t get it. it tells so much story and motivations. it was fun to see the type of data gathering that actually proves she’s a witch (cursed) on the contrast. I think if people are expecting the leads to meet, forgets male lead will literally die if they do talk lol

now that we watched ep3, there’s explanation to why he didn’t say anything now

it was pretty obvious she is the granddaughter and she was forced to break up as well probably to protect male lead and also her own revenge agenda or something? also I feel like the guy at the very beginning isn’t ML?

Christmas Carol acting was excellent

that’s why I think it’s to each of their own and it’s an opinion more than “it will be more crisp and better” because I personally also like the story being separated so I can fully emerged into her story and her story alone. my feelings follow her journey and won’t get disrupted so I get to fully dive into her emotions. I like the current approach so like I said, it’s an opinion and subjective so it’s not an objective fact. we can agree to disagree

It's a directing choice and while it will have a more satisfied audience, I can't say it is going to be a better and crisp episode. It also wants to stick to the original source material with the way the storytelling was done as well.

he’s also a nerdy kid who aren’t the type that immediately goes up and talk to a girl he likes. some people just aren’t that type. and the nature of this story is, he just can’t lol if he does he’s gonna be dead like the rest of the boys

he also wasn’t a bystander at all haha he was telling everyone he met she’s not a witch, and gifted the shading above the bench, removed the markings lol honestly this whole drama is going to be about everything he’s doing for her hahaha he’s the 180 degree opposite of bystander one can be hahaha
