I think they do. I have done updates to casting information or profile changes before for other shows. they do respond back - updates one and declined another

the first episode was rated to a 4 (probably from antis) so it pulls the average down. also the show is the slow burn type so many also don’t like this style. I think there are parts where I found the pacing wasn’t the best but besides the pace I honestly can’t find any other critics. the plot and story is intriguing, cinematography and music is like movie, the acting is detailed and nuanced.

from what the story's been told, he actually didn't really know. At first he just felt he wanted to help her and prove to people she is not a witch, then during the first year of college he learned that she might actually be cursed and she left. He forgot about this whole thing until his mom is dying and he found out his mom's connection to her and her mom believes his flawed paper from first year of college. So the latest 3 years - he just wanted to finish his promise with mom. He may know that he is seeing her positively but didn't know what this feeling was

it’s Kang Full’s stories and you know the second half is where it will connect all the dots from the first half with places you may not have paid attention to. My sister who didn’t read the webtoon screamed “holy shit she knows his names he’s gonna be deadddddd nowwww” hahhaa of coz with the rules he will only die if he confesses but with her knowing his name, his stakes are really high now. if he decided to test it out and confess, he’s just gonna be dead like that! lol

i think the pacing isn’t done well enough but this story is very similar to most other Kang Full stories where the second half is where the dots in the first half would finally make sense

in no way in real life this is OK, but this is a drama with a setting that dongjin being cautious before reaching out to Mijeong is a true life or death situation, so it’s very different. The only reason he is stalking her is to actually help her without himself dying is very different than “I love you I will watch you and stalk you from afar” 😂

not sure if you are still following the drama but now that we are in ep6 and the plot has moved to a point where it explains why - Dongjin has done analysis in his college days wanting to prove her innocence - however from his college instructor’s coaching, he actually noticed the patterns that mijeong is in fact dangerous and the data is showing she may truly be cursed. knowing approaching her mindlessly without preparations, he may also be in danger and could harm/die. That’s why he didn’t reach out to her in adult but instead follow her without approaching.

seeing people calling dongjin a stalker, in fact Kang full originally wanted to name the webtoon “stalker” before so it’s fully aware of the action is “stalking”. he changed it to “the witch” to show Mijeong’s POV. however - I think the main difference here is, his action is a result of learning it is indeed dangerous to be in touch with Mijeong. Remember dongjin was trying to prove her innocence so he did a in-depth analysis (with his college instructors coaching) and noticed the pattern is indeed unusual, and realized she may truly be cursed? With this knowledge, he is fully aware if he approach Mijeong, it can harm him. That’s the reason why in the adult encounter, he couldn’t just mindlessly approach her. if he didn’t know about the danger - he would have approached her like a normal person instead of “stalking” and then he will just die lol The behavior was driven by the knowledge of “getting in touch with her is dangerous so he should approach with caution and preparation” is the key here.

i think this is a very different type of romance story because of the setting - mijeong is cursed and if dongjin talks to her he will die lol so we can’t expect the same type of leads meeting up and falling for each other. but as the story unfolds, you will understand why it has the romance tag 😂their gazes alone - will be full of love and emotions
