P.s. my mother was watched this drama approximately 7 times (maybe more tbh I've lost count) and every time she comes across Gu Jin's fatherly sacrifice she always tears up. His performance is top notch!

Leon Lai as Gu Jun and Liu Xue Yi as Tian Qi, are so memorable to me. I don't think I'll ever forget their portrayals here. Easily two of my most favorite performances ever! They both deserve so much more recognition, they are super talanted!

He is such an amazing actor, it would be a shame not to see him on screen. I'm really hoping he gets more and better main leading roles, he deserves it.

The audio and editing is not great, but the cast did amazing! I loved the main squad aka FL, ML, Fox and young Dragon Lord. Their relationship was so so wholesome!

I'm sorry, but even as a fan of most of the cast (and especially of the fl), this is not it. It is simply wasted potential. The special effects are amazing and the cast is great. But when the story/ script is lacking, even the best actors on this earth can't save it.

He is so majestic and such a great actor! I've loved seeing him on screen ever since I first saw him in Till The End Of The Moon. Seriously he did such an amazing work there, as well as in Lost You Forever. I can't wait to see what his next projects are gonna be like.

Exactly! I think there is a strong resemblance in XFF and Wanning's awful experiences. I think this is purposefully done to showcase how 2 different peoppe who've been through similarly horrible situations, can choose to either repeat the circle of abuse and become what they hate, or they can choose to stay true to themselves and not repeat the abuse they suffered.

I was thinking of watching this, ngl I was a bit afraid that it was going to turn out a bit like Woo ri the virgin (I was very excited for it as I liked the cast, but became more and more disappointed as it progressed). But since this seems to be well made, I'm gonna watch it. Thanks for the recommendation!

OG Jiang Li's dad wasn't the best father in the world and he was definitely an as*hole and a coward, but he wasn't a bad person. Wanning and Shen Yurong on the other hand... They might've had their difficulties, but they both deliberately chose to hurt innocent people. They undoubtedly deserved a bad ending. Though I do really feel bad for what Wanning had to go through in the past, but still, this does not justify her hurting innocent people.
