It is actually a transmigration story instead of a reincarnation since he entered the body right after his death. The novel never provided a reason and in fact erase HW existence in the 2nd line, which makes no sense. The reason will be tied to his death and most likely that DJ was fated to be the true owner of SY. However, from the rumors I found, I no longer am sure

First, you assume he knew about the mother's investment into Soonyang, which he didn't. All he knew was that his mother died due to his father getting beat up for picketing. The fact that he brought up the idea of going to college shows that he believed they were comfortable enough to even contemplate this idea. Second of all, you assume that he could easily give them money or that they would accept some stranger's money. Would you? Would you accept some stranger's money? Be realistic here. Additionally, his movements were tracked, so how would he do that? There were in the middle of the financial crisis and the father stated that he didn't have enough skills to go elsewhere despite working up to become an engineer. If you think it is easy to transfer skills into a new job, you've never been unemployed.Also, you are at episode 6, so continue to watch why he ended up at SY.
