I think episode 5 was the best so far. all the previous ones were great, but this had it all. we got more information about our main characters, so much heart and emotion and a heartwarming resolution with the two brothers. great writing and great acting too.
I'm only interested because of Seri and Prof Eagle. they have a good romance setup, and they're cute so far, or at least she is. she's slowly getting interested in him. (and to think I was against the student teacher thing!)
oh, but my fav pairing is Bom and Maknae Eagle though. they're the most wholesome and cutest storyline in this drama.
everything else I want to FF, even the leads if the misunderstandings continue.
I knew Akazawa was shady from the start. but I don't think he killed Haruo or Awayama, it has to be a red herring. especially since he shows remorse and humanity at times. how can the person who got Uta adopted kill her stepfather?
I do feel like the mystery is being solved very slowly, there are just 3 episodes left. we all knew Komugi was It's by EP. 2 or 4. I'm more interested in why Anan is working with the killer
These people are wild, wdym you're shit talking your boss because he sat in on your review meeting? A very normal, boss like thing to do?
Yeah, it sucks he fired your friend, but wdym you're blocking his car and giving him the middle finger? If he actually was an asshole, he could have you fired or made your work life hell.
I don't think Baek-ho should have fired Mi-gyoung for being redundant. All the reasons he gave were just excuses for a soulless corporate cost-cutting measure, nothing more. She's worked there long enough to pick up the required expertise, she's diligent and passionate. And you probably can't expect her to get results within six years, idk if that's how science works.
Baek-ho should have fired Mi-gyoung for all the endless harassment and aggression she's displayed from the start of EP. 1.
welcome to kdramas. here we have top spies dancing like the rent's due so that their colleague (undercover as a high schooler) can win student elections and investigate some ~spooky~ clocks.
we also have, uhhh, actual high school kid being forced to sleep less than 4 hours and take pills by her evil chaebol mom
Ordinarily, I would be on the workers' side but this poor guy hasn't even done anything to them. I don't think ML fired the previous boss nor was he out of line for refusing to pay money to the villagers. All this harassment just seems super mean.
The main couple... Ehhh, the usual shenanigans and bickering. I'm just glad that Hedgehog Dad isn't acting on the rumours spread by Silla CEO, per se. The line he's drawing with Gwang-sook is frankly very appropriate tbh.
Hairdresser Stan continues to be creepy and Gwang-suk's mom continues to be screechy. What else is new?
Piano Teacher has a kid?? Honestly way more 2D than her love rival. Seems mean to hide that from a potential paramour, tho. If I was the litl girl, I'd feel bad and worry that my mom was ashamed of me or something.
I really liked EP 9. So far, Maknae and Bom are my fav couple. The fact she travelled six hours to visit him at the hospital... Him casually calling her pretty and cute. They're both shy - at least he is - but they're super sweet!
In Korea, is it OK for a prof to indirectly call a student attractive? And take her out for lunch? Seems a bit inappropriate to me, but whatever, it's just a drama. I love how much Seri adores Hani (who wouldn't?) and how proud Prof Eagle is of his daughter.
My big fear is that Young-eun will suddenly want Hani back and use her rich husband's money to get custody...
The way Silla Brewery works, I'm also scared Silla Mom will try to turn Bom against Eagle Maknae.... If Maknae married Bom, would Seri's share of the inheritance be threatened?
there were so many deaths this episode, but the death of the First Sergeant was a gut punch. he may have been curt and brusque, but he cared about his men & was a genuine leader. I don't know how the soldiers (and Soo-jung) will continue without him, they're gonna fall apart.
Soo-jung continues to be a queen. taking down threats, no questions asked, with deadly skill. we stan a girlboss. the military gear and rifle suits her more than most of the guys in the unit lol. honestly my favorite character, and In-ho is a close second.
Paolo is just a caricature of Americans 😭😭 it was so funny when the First Sarge told them it's ok to smoke and literally everyone pulled out their cigarettes (not In-ho with the vape 😭😭) genuinely funny in a drama that struggles to bring the laughs imo
Idrc that much about Yong-ju's group, but the deaths of Alex and the drunk guy were also sad. arrogant celeb or not, Alex was a caring and brave person, as was the drunk guy. The sunbae flip flops between being the voice of reason to the most annoying mf ever.
I have no opinion about Young-joo. as for the romance... the zom rom com aspects are simply not working for me. honestly I was more interested in seeing the soldiers clear out the rooms one by room, it's interesting to see how modern militaries would deal with situations like this. we saw a bit of this in All of Us Are Dead
