I was like, wow, this is the best episode ever! We got to see Yong-ju get all jealous and pouty and flustered! And the cause of the jealousy? Why, Min-joo's ex-girlfriend, Ms. Cinderella herself!
It was so cute and funny. I love seeing how Yongju.exe just crashes whenever Minjoo does something swoony...
... and then the rest of the episode happened... 😭😭
EP. 2: getting jobs in jdramaland is so easy. Bro just went, "mmm, delicious" and the CEO of a food company hired…
It does really suck that Nayuki was parentified into Riku's mom bc one actual parent left and the other died, but such is the fate of female leads in dramas.
I have so many questions though: why did the CEO hire him on the spot? Why did he look so worried when he first met the Shinigami? I might have watched too many crime dramas, but is he involved in Nayuki's dad's death?
What about his son? Typical SML crush on Nayuki, or is it something more sinister?
And why did Sakuya come to earth? He seems to want to be human very badly. I guess he has a reason of his own... Also, I guess he's trying to make Nayuki's remaining life on earth as pleasant as possible 😭😭 maybe her dad helped Sayuka? That's why he likes this family so much.

2024 is the year of cute Grim Reapers in jdramas, I see. It must be nice to have a Shinigami in a nice suit fawn over you at work, distracting you from Excel spreadsheets, and giving you life advice that helps you make fulfilling decisions.
Poor Riku is trying so hard to save his sister 😭 I love their relationship, they're both so caring towards each other.
I did not expect this drama to be this good... everything works so far - the writing, the music, the acting... If all the episodes are like this, we might have a banger on our hands... from the first minutes of the premiere to the last minutes of the second episode, I was not bored for a single sec, just completely rapt...
you should watch this drama if you like: - hot people - hot people being cute with each other - married couple doing married couple stuff (pg-13 bed scenes and hot makeout sessions) - traditional gender roles - a "plot" where nothing bad really happens - very few, short episodes
you should NOT watch this if you like: - an actual story: this was just vibes, a script written around the hot people and heart fluttering moments - green flag ML: this man is so possessive, jealous and horny - strong FL: I get why she's like this, but still, it's off-putting to see a doormat FL in 2024
I feel this drama is like the currently popular cozy fantasy genre, but without any of the fantasy elements. Just two charming people going about their days, with no high stakes problems, dealing with their personal issues with each other's help. Very slice of life, ft. folksy and ever helpful supporting cast, cute kitty. I genuinely like this vibe, and I hope it stays this way - I find watching Brewing Love a great way to relax after a rough day at work. Fingers crossed no serial killers appear on scene or there's no chaebol secret heir intrigue.

rn, SML and FL have more romantic portrayal. ML already has a crush on FL, but she doesn't even seem to think of him as a man.

I feel we could avoid all of these problems if y'all just just talked to each other... He genuinely cares about her and she just wants to be loved
