You're lucky you haven't witnessed something like this. India is a very hierarchical society just like Korea with the same emphasis on obedience and conformity. The same kind of abuse depicted in this drama is common throughout Indian society, it's just swept under the rug. We are lucky that conscription isn't enforced in India or we would be facing the same issues that young Korean men face.
These Netflix Original dramas are 10 times better than the usual network kdramas. Extracurricular, Kingdom, Move to Heaven and now D.P. Just phenomenonal.
