Yeah, she acted really well in I''s, portraying this kind of character. Her character, Aso, seemed not all there but sweet and mature and kind. Man, I hope she gets more roles and even main ones.

Asahi is such a good female character, at least imo. Usually women are in the workplace are shown as either cold, emotionless badasses or incompetent and weak-willed. Asahi, while she has a lot of the inner strength and coolness needed to survive in a male-dominated world, is also very empathetic, caring and a genuinely nice person.
I was just confused and kinda bored during the first few episodes but I'm really enjoying this drama. Each episode is better than the last, with ep. 4 being my fav so far with its very wholesome depiction of a healthy father-daughter relationship. There are also a lot of good messages that are told very gently. All in all, looking forward to see where the story goes and thanks Furritsu-san for subbing this!
I actually really enjoyed this movie, much more than the Korean one. The cinematography was gorgeous, the acting was great and the chemistry was not bad either. You can really feel the emotion in this version even though, as another person pointed out, this movie has a lighter touch and is less dark. I liked Yoshitaka Yuriko's acting and Ryusei was pretty good, Would definitely recommend this movie if you like romance.
