I'm watching the anime adaptation that is also airing and it's really good but I'm not convinced of watching this…
I've never seen the anime or read the manga but I liked the first episode. The acting is not bad and the quality is pretty good. I'd recommend giving it a try.
You can tell this is an anime adaption by that way the characters and the wigs are frankly dubious, but I actually kinda like this drama? The first episode was cute and the production value is really good.
Kurumi and Hibiki better meet up for real next episode or I'm gonna be so mad!
Min-jun's noona and the Dr/Prof. Shuto get more depraved and evil each ep., although she at least let her brother go.
Punch Todoroki like he's a punching bag pls, it's his bakchodi that got that poor little girl dead even tho Kurumi shares some of the blame... although she became suicidal bc of Todoroki's lies. Bottom line, Todoroki sucks and he deserves whatever he gets.
Ep. 9 was one of the best episodes. I have to say, it was brave of the writers to go where they did considering how racist and xenophobic Japan society still is. Even Ishikawa and Takagi were low-key right on the line, even if they were a bit sympathetic to the foreign immigrants' plight.

I'm not sure. Celebrities have way more money and power than your average butcher or baker. They set an example for the rest of society whether they want to or not because of the influence they have. Obviously, no one should send death threats or harass these people but they are cheaters. They deserve some censure for their actions. The fair thing would be for him to get his career cancelled as well not just her.
I'm not saying she should be rehabilitated. I have no compassion for cheaters. All I'm saying is she bore the brunt of the public's punishment while he gets off scot free. He was a much older man with kids and a loving wife and yet he's the one who still has a career?
