The only thing I disliked was the ending - it felt like they were separating the leads for the most contrived of reasons.

Finally finished it. One of the best dramas I have ever seen. The main leads' acting was good, sure, but every actor was phenomenal as well. The story was beautiful and tragic and so damn deep. I'm so happy I watched this. 9/10.

I think what you said is correct. But also, because of the reset button, Marie got the chance to live a literally perfect life, with no problems or setbacks or obstacles of any kind. One of the lessons I understood from the episode is that setbacks and problems give our life meaning in a way. if we have nothing to overcome or to strive for and everything is handed to us, life becomes boring, meaningless, dull. The drama is not saying you shouldn't have expectations but rather you should work hard and put effort into achieving them. As for your last question, I think she does remember all the previous moments because we see finally accept being rejected and moving on, meaning she learnt something from her experiences with the reset device.

I have a feeling the book is darker than the drama. If you want something light/heartwarming/comedic, you should read The Miracles of Namiya General Store. It has also like two or three live action adaptations, lol.

No, it's translated in English! In fact, a few of Keigo Higashino's books have been translated and I'm currently reading them one by one. So many of his stories have become movies or dramas and I can see why - he's an amazing writer.

Idk if you read the book, but Yukiho is one of the worst human beings in the history of literature.

100% percent agree. It feels like actors and actresses in Korea do a lot of makeup and possibly surgery, as well as whatever they need to do to look more paler, and the overall effect looks less natural. I'm not saying that the Japanese actors and actresses don't do this but they seem to do it to a lesser extent and that makes them look like real, normal but good-looking people.

why specifically PSD as a FL? Is she a bad actress? I thought she was good in Parasite.
