imo it's bc Korean beauty standards mostly involves going under the knife to look plastic,...not saying they all…
100% percent agree. It feels like actors and actresses in Korea do a lot of makeup and possibly surgery, as well as whatever they need to do to look more paler, and the overall effect looks less natural. I'm not saying that the Japanese actors and actresses don't do this but they seem to do it to a lesser extent and that makes them look like real, normal but good-looking people.
