It was all well and good until Soo Hyuk received the call from his ex. When he decided to go I was like what seriously?…
i like where they're going with this storyline, but I wish they dealt with it earlier instead of endless scenes of Bora crying and making a fool of herself. hopefully, they don't rush the leads' relationship in the next few episodes
Oh the level of "told you so" i could apply to yall demonizing Soohyuk early on hahaha. I never fully believed…
first of all, he's not blameless. he still was not emotionally available, as even he eventually realizes. secondly, we never really saw much from Yuri. I genuinely like how they're developing that plotline, bc now we get to see that relationships break down sometimes due to both parties' foibles.
This drama is so weird. One minute it's so cringey/dumb and then next minute it has really mature & good writing
like, Sis really dropped in a reference to Auschwitz to describe her post breakup strategy....
AUSCHWITZ
but then, on the other hand... i was talking shit about about it but it makes sense about Suhyeok & Bora remaining friends. It's way too soon for them to be dating, since they've just started to move on. They seem to have a lot of feelings for each other but they also genuinely have a great friendship. Besides, at this point in their journey, they just need companionship from someone who understand what they're going thru. I love how they solved their fight and the kiss, it was wholesome and usually not seen in media.
Also what I liked about ep. 10 is that for the first time she's the one comforting him instead of it always being a one way street
finally, the way Yuri said relationships are meant to petty or whatever... that was ice cold 🥶🥶🥶 and some genuinely good writing. Bora's own silly strategies got thrown in her face and now she has to save Suhyeok because of what she taught others
I KNEW SHE WAS GONNA ASSUME HE WAS INTO BDSM... I'm not sure if they translated it correctly, istg she called him a perv
Not Ms. Lee and Captain Jang having a lil romantic moment... and then the other two have their own right after
Shota? More like, So-hot..a. Nvm. But yeah, he's a 10 but he likes to collect human teeth.
The way you can tell these are Korean actors desperately trying to pronounce Japanese. It'd be cool if they hired actual Japanese actors. I would to love see my fav jdrama actors pop out of nowhere in this random kdrama lol
Things were too wholesome and sweet so far. I was just vibing and having fun but ik something bad was gonna happen and here we are... wtf was that ending scene?? now I'm so scared for Team Karma T-T
finally, at the halfway point, so long after the fun premiere week, I enjoyed an episode. It was genuinely fun. She finally got over the cheating asshole, broke up with him in a mature way and had a hot makeout session with Suhyeok. He's completely fallen for her and hard... But who can blame him? She literally got me too during that seduction scene.
Meanwhile, creepy army guy got together with the annoying brat. Not sure how to feel about that. It's not really confirmed, but the initial signs seem to suggest that new employee girl likes her much older boss, who's just realizing he's playing with fire? Both are a bit of a yikes for me. With this drama, you win some and lose some, I guess.
i guess this wouldn't be a Korean drama if - King Dong-wook wasn't playing a TV reporter - Jin Ki Joo playing a character who lost either one or both of her parents to an accident or murder - horrific school bullying that almost led to a person's death

but hopefully she gets to play non-toxic characters at least sometimes T-T

But she's so pretty, I--
With every scoff of disbelief ML does, you know he's falling for her bit by bit.
Former army dude still in his creepy arc, I keep expecting to hear the SVU opening music at some point
