it might be because I keep skipping all the annoying parts and all the scenes where everyone decides to be evil to FL, but I feel like this story is so complicated. on top of a grim reaper inhabiting a dead man's body and romancing a pretty doctor, I forgot there was an amnesia plot, hospital political intrigue ft. murder and two sets of annoying exes as well. I wish that annoying psycho ex friend hadn't appeared and we could just have Kokdu x Han Hye Jeol cute moments instead of the chaos that is this plot.
also I can already tell they're gonna set up the evil ex friend with her brother which is fucked up. her bro seems like a nice guy, aside from being a cop (🤢🤢), and it would be so fucked up if he ended up with the woman who tormented his elder sister for years...
this drama is a bit of mess and all over the place tonally. like the comedy is very funny, Im Soo-hyang very cute (why are her distressed noises so adorable & I love her voice), ML acts very well and his character is interesting in a messed up way. bro has the body language & demeanour of Ryuk from Death Note. but I feel all the darker, injustice aspects don't jive well with the rest of the show. nevertheless, I think I'm enjoying it and I'll give the rest a try too.
Against my better judgement and with the lowest of expectations, I decided to watch this drama and gave the first…
4) FL would have totally kept her mouth shut to protect herself. That patient probably had loved ones too, she was a human being - does her murder not deserve justice l? Ik that FL is poor and powerless but it's still pretty fucked up that she was 100% gonna be complicit in the murder and coverup until she empathized with the ML losing his mom. Yikes.

I have four takeaways: 1) Im Soo-hyang is very pretty. This is my first drama with her and I've always been scared by her reputation but wow she's gorgeous and tbh her acting wasn't that bad. 2) that's the dude from Mr. Queen??? He's very tall, very hot and I wish he hugged me instead. 3) this drama is literally not original in a single way, but I really liked the humour somehow and the overall vibes. Less so the usual kdrama murder intrigue conspiracy plot.
it's amazing how Migyoung makes me feel so bad for her to the point that I want to fight Ha myself... then 10 mins later she's coldly sinking daggers into Suyoung and I lose all sympathy for her. Oh God, 30 minutes later, Migyoung really said she's entering her villain arc. Self respect went bye-bye. At least Sangsu at least had the courage to break off a relationship he felt was a lie, even if it was in the most despicable and ruthless way possible. Romantic love isn't owed or acquired, Migyoung, jfc. And ik she can find a much less problematic match.
This study group girl went to the Migyoung Academy of Interpersonal Relationships. Acting like that... Right in the front of the actual gf... In front of all their friends.
Wtf?? Why is Suyoung to blame for Ha's feelings??? That scene was so infuriating, idk if I will be able to feel sympathetic for Migyoung from this point on. Good Lord, every episode these characters just get worse.
so that's how they choose to adapt SY's one night stand with Gyeongpil from the novel. I genuinely think a line has been crossed. Even if she's doing it with the best of intentions, this shit is so fucked up. I doubt that she slept with him fr (I haven't read the novel, just heard about the plot points) but causing this level of emotional damage... I want to see how ppl in this subreddit defend Suyoung now.
very paint by the numbers and tropey. still, it was funny and interesting even it didn't give us anything new and barely did anything with the soul trapped in phone gimmick. best possible ending. 8.5/10.
How bad was the sex??? I feel bad for Jeonghyun, because the face that she made afterwards was BRUTAL. Next time, try not dating the dude who reminds you of your brother.
I think ep. 9 was the best so far. Even for this drama, today's plot was TENSE. They keep promising us something us something spicy each other and they never deliver (ofc the hotel scenes were a bait and switch, you really think these two idiots with emotional openness of the Maginot Line were gonna have infidelity sex?) but now it feels either or both relationship is about implode soon.
Amazing acting by MGY and the lady playing the SFL. That scene where they were having wine felt like two people barely restraining themselves from tearing each other's faces off. Figuratively ofc. The way she turn over that phone was so petty, it's funny. I was hoping that Gyeongpil was just some dude who saw thru Migyoung and liked to create chaos every now and then, but the revelation that he cheated on her so horribly casts everything he says and does in a much harsher light. And it doesn't even feel like he feels bad for what he did, so I hope there's more to their backstory.
Their little date at the beach was the cutest shit. Why can't we have 8 episodes of this instead?? T-T
