Also i want to thank the editor and the choreographer. That first fight was amazing. What makes me drop a cdrama…
Yeah, about the choreography, LMAO. They copied all the cool fights, entirely shot for shot of the edit, from a CGI series. So yeah, it's great! Not their work, unfortunately.
Oh yeah, definitely. Looks like a streaming movie adaptation of one of the earlier books maybe.
Possibly. I'm not really sure, but "Mu Ye Gui Shi" aka "Mystery of Muye" might be like a spinoff series? Definitely one about Hu BaYi's son is named that way in Chinese. I haven't watched any of them yet.
Yep, looks like it's somewhat misnamed. It's the same story as "Weasel Grave", but a movie instead of a series.
If you wanna try getting into the series, I would recommend starting either with the first Mojin movie (2015 - The Lost Legend/The Ghouls), or Wrath of Time. Wrath of Time is also quite short and much more fun than Weasel Grave.
Here's another trailer with English subs. Looks like quite the CG fest, unfortunately. :/ The original Mojin film had a lot of CG, but they also shot on location a ton. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Gj0Qku03Bk
LMAO what. Have you watched any length of Palace in the Clouds? It's like heaven and bagpipes, as we say. Can't…
It's pretty bad. Reunion was good, Ultimate Note was silly but fun. PitC reminds me of the earlier seasons, it's not good. (and I think all the newer Candle in the Tomb seasons are by far better produced and overall gooder than most Lost Tomb ones. ) Why do you think Worm Valley is worse than, let's say, Lost Caverns? I think the story itself is a bit...hmmm, goofy. But it seems better paced, to me.
Oh I didn't even realize Wang Yan Yang was in this! Nice. Also - I've seen on some Chinese sites that this is supposed to be the only adaptation of Candle in the Tomb supported by the author of the book. O_O Is that true?
