So this is my guess, not having read the books: 1) Wrath of Time2) Weasel Grave3) Candle in the Tomb4) Lost Caverns5)…
No, I meant the movies that are named the same as some of the series are a different adaptation of the appropriate story. For instance - we got both versions of Wrath of Time in the same year. And we already have movies adapting Worm Valley and Raiders of the Wu Gorge, but the TV series for those stories are still in production.
I'm not sure what Mojin(2020) is, or which story it adapts, same for Mojin: Mysterious Treasure.

I don't think Mojin Returns is actually a thing, that one's been super inactive for years now. (and there's zero information about it. The only thing that interested me about it was Tsui Hark was rumored to direct or produce, but that might've been just a rumor.) Legend Hunters got a teaser recently, that one is a sequel made by a western director I think, with much older main characters.
There is a parallel series of movies (analog to the tv dramas) which I think are all made by the same company. They're much more fantasy, the characters are exaggerated and by necessity they condense the story a lot more. They're not awful, but I prefer the tv series. And then there are the other movies, which feel like bootlegs or ripoffs, but they apparently do have a license for the names and such. I've not seen any of those.
Hey, do you happen to have the chronological watch order for these? (not by order of release but by what happened…
So this is my guess, not having read the books: 1) Wrath of Time 2) Weasel Grave 3) Candle in the Tomb 4) Lost Caverns 5) Worm Valley 6) Mojin: The Lost Legend 7) Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe 8) Finding Hu Ba Yi
- some of the movies adapt the same stories as the series (Worm Valley, Wrath of Time...). I'd say almost as a rule the series is without fail better than the corresponding movie. - my favourite is the Wrath of Time series, which is convenient as it comes first. Then I really enjoyed Lost Caverns (some of the same cast and production company) and the same people are making the upcoming Worm Valley series. I also really love the very first Mojin movie (The Ghouls, or "The Lost Legend"), but it draws from more than one books and kinda makes up its own story, I think.
Do we know what these are? "Kunlun Shrine", "South Sea Wasteland" and "Raiders of the Wu Gorge"? Are they like movies with the current series cast? (there was a RotWG film before, but with other actors)
OK hang on. Friends. Is there a maybe a fansite, or like a discord community or anything English speaking for fans of Liu Chang? I just randomly googled his name and found photos of him crossdressing and... I have questions. Like: Is he single? Is he, perhaps, into lonely European men? *sigh*
Which Candle in the Tomb series should I watch first? Any correct order to watch?
There's no need to watch them in chronological order as the stories happen, you can just start with the first show that came out. You CAN however start with this prequel, because it's not spoiling anything and is very good.
a new mojin movie called dragon Labyrinth came out it is on IQIyi https://www.iqiyi.com/us/play/19rwnbg11c
And another movie called "Mojin, the Worm Valley: Legend of the King", so after the shitty 2019 movie we're getting another shitty movie, which will be followed by another adaptation of the same story in 2021. (the series) Ehhh....
BTW, I thought I'd gotten used to all the recasting in these shows. And then in Tomb of the Sea they cast the same actor who played Er Ye in Mystic Nine, but he's not Er Ye! (but his student? I think.) For a long while I was convinced he's somehow immortal like lieutenant Zhang was.
The main theme of Daomu is "It's fucking awesome being a rich mobster." (because that's pretty much what the "clans"…
Also Fatty is a character that plays an almost identical role (with the exact same nickname) in both Daomu and CitT, and is most often played by the coolest and funniest actor on the show. If you like him, CitT has one too.
The main theme of Daomu is "It's fucking awesome being a rich mobster." (because that's pretty much what the "clans" are, crime families.) If you're going into it for the cute boys being in love with each other, you won't get more than endless wistful stares. The "Hey, maybe they're just really good friends, no homo." thing applies. If you're interested in tomb raiding, the Candle in the Tomb series of movies and shows is far superior technically and way more entertaining. (also...it like explains more stuff and generally the story makes at least a bit of sense.) If you must, Time Raiders (the movie) is by far the best piece of Daomu you can watch. (best actors, actually tight and somewhat coherent story etc.) Then a long long way to go, and then in the distance in the second place it's Mystic Nine, because the characters are fun, even if the story is incredibly padded and makes 0 sense.

I am very gay for this man.
Ehhh....
Oh!
Now I get it. Yeah, I liked the guy in TLT2 a bit better.
(and he's less confusing)
(but his student? I think.)
For a long while I was convinced he's somehow immortal like lieutenant Zhang was.
Oh, I think you have not yet encountered a significant portion of the series' fandom. :))
