Yes, IQIYI rating is different than Tencent and Youku. IQIYI’s A is equivalent to a S with Tencent and there’s no S+ rating with IQIYI (S is the highest). For example, OAO is an A production.

I guess some might see it as spin offs but it’s a separate novel (only using the same character names) and ALP is not that memorable-it wasn’t a big hit/success… unless BL’s haters mention it, no one really going to talk about it (of course her haters are going to bring it up- any opportunity to trash her, they will lol). Hope IQIYI do right by her and invest in good scriptwriters, CGI and costumes/ makeup designs. I head this’s going to be a S production (bigger budget than SOKP, which was an A).

I know right, very frustrating with the choices of her MLs. I read a melon rumor… don’t know if it is true… ZHL has relative who is a higher ups in IQIYI, that was why he gets bigger projects compared to other newbies. As for ARP, I was really surprised but let’s try not to be negative since it’s not confirmed… hope for the best.

Very unexpected, since most of his dramas are with Youku and Tencent playing small roles, not IQIYI… why would IQIYI give him good resource to start… maybe a 2nd ML would make sense. Since it’s only a melon, only takes it with a grain of salt. Also, ARP currently has a short web drama (Youku) on air…. Who’s to say that this rumor is only for heat since not many ppl know who he is?

There’re only a few somewhat reliable melon accounts and even those are only right maybe about 70% of the time.
I heard about airing after LY7T.., even if that’s true.., it’s still going to be in Sept. and not tonight.

I noticed that too, so called netizen are just her haters and melon accounts paid by competitors to spread negativity about her. I think one of the reasons she doesn’t have much positive articles about her is because of her agency… kind of like a paid advertisement and her boss is being cheap.

I went on that website a few times and I noticed that site never has any positive news on BL… mostly inaccurate gossipy news, so I don’t go there anymore.

That happened in April, so it’s old news, and the reason as to why it’s reported just now… maybe antis trying to create an illusion that there’s problem with her dramas coming out. From what I understand from reading other credible melon accounts- the production boss reported on his own employee who embezzled back in April, this should not have any negative impact on this drama.

No. I usually only read the novel if BL is the confirmed FL… should know by the end of September or beginning of October as to which one she’ll choose.

I’m sure that happens a lot in the entertainment business, being one’s more famous. But I think BL is really single, she is just too busy with work and no time for anything else.

Well I can’t say I feel sorry for her bc she was given so many chances… and most of her dramas were nicely budgeted and also paired with good male leads.

MLC doesn’t have much romance… just some backstory of the ML’s past relationship; if anything, more like bromance (brotherhood kind of relationship). As to the investigative cases, some hit and miss for me.

LY7T is produced by the same producer as CLJ (last year’s IQIYI hit). IQIYI had high hope for a repeating success but LY7T is not doing good at all…. The heat index kept on dropping, along with poor viewership. MLC and LYF still have higher viewership than LY7T even though they finished their runs. I checked out LY7T, the FL’s acting is pretty bad, plus I couldn’t feel any chemistry between the ML and FL.

I finished LYF, it was good enough for me to finish… the script is pretty good but I’m not crazy about the actors (I do like the 2nd ML better haha) and the CGI is not that great considering it’s a big budget S+ tencent drama. MLC is a work in progress for me… I prefer female centric dramas so it’s tougher for me to get into a male centric one.

I’m sure SOKP will do just fine…considering non of the recent dramas are that good.

From what I understand, Northwards is a high budget realistic drama (non-idol drama-no filter, real voice etc) and it’s slated for CCTV broadcast. The production probably has the budget to block leaks and spoilers? Plus BL’s fans are very good at not posting any spoiler pictures online even if they went to the set to see her.
