Yes but the producer gets to ‘promote’ the drama how he wishes. BL has many dramas with IQIYI and frying CP with rumors didn’t happen until this producer came along. I’m not saying it’s definitely not IQIYI but it could be other culprits.
Also, the so call evidence with ZHL seems fake to me at the time, since they were never in the same frame. Yes, this time is even faker…just because they used the same type of fan. BL’s co-star from OAO clarified on weibo that she gave her that fan as a gift.

There’s going to be a lot of comparison between bai Lu and other actresses; BL is considered as a traffic star now (her growth in popularity has risen from last year or so in China). A lot of these so called sites are using her name as clickbait and half of the time these articles are being commissioned by her competitors to put BL in a bad light. Remember a lot of the actresses are fighting for the same resource. As for WJY, she had a number of dramas that flopped so bad that no one even remembered them… and now the comparison? Not for nothing, there’s no fan war between both parties, this’s so manufactured.

According to IQIYI, Northward will come out Q3 … sometime between June-August.
