I think this drama in particular is meant to have large character arches. To be able to show growth characters…
Jin displays extreme mental/emotional abusive tendencies and Ye Ji just GOES with it and the drama isn't even indicating how wildly unhealthy and harmful that can be. I understand characters being flawed but I think there's unhealthy messages in this.
I really wish I would drop this drama but it's like watching a car crash or train wreck (the most boring car crash or train wreck) -- I just can't look away. There are so many horrible messages in this drama, the FL should NOT be an example for ANYONE, ugh it's just upsetting.
Thank you so much for this article, I wasn't aware of this upcoming kdrama! I'm thrilled! I appreciate the actor of the SL but I can't lie, I'm definitely here for my boo thang JKY <3 The story does seem to have some overwhelming elements like you said but it could be utterly fantastic if they pull it off!
I'm not seeing anything about the male lead being a singer either -- I'm frustrated! I want to know! I have the OST on my phone and listen to it every day!
I thought you have to have an ugly ass soul to be the owner of The Moon Inn? Don't tell me you think Chan Seong…
Oh, I hadn't considered that Ma Go was the initial owner... I mean, I don't think being the owner is entirely a punishment -- I think it depends on the person/circumstance/etc. I just finished ep14 and I'm even more curious about who the owner is now after the staff discussing it!!
And it is obvious that even though CS loves her he knows he cannot dream about having a life together with her.…
So many kdrama viewers have this obscure sense of entitlement to an idyllic romance -- so love stories like Man Wol and Chan Seong's are "lacking" to them. It really aggravates me. Like, if you want a cute love story go watch Her Private Life. (Nothing against HPL, I enjoyed it haha)
