True. I watched tomb of the sea last year while it's still airing but didn't finish, because found the plot getting less interesting towards the end. But after watching ultimate note, and while waiting for new episodes, I try to pick up tomb of the sea where I left then, and it's getting more sense now.

Right! I always thought the lost tomb 1 was the best adaption of all (because of yang yang's xiao ge), until I started ultimate note. By best adaptation I meant lots of cool choreographed fighting scenes, be it xiao ge, xiao hua or hei yan jing. Love them all! Now I'm looking for other cdramas with eye candy actors/characters and cool fighting scenes

I was curious, so I checked and found the age of joseph zheng here (23 years old) vs li yifeng from the lost tomb (28 years old at the time) as well as xiao yuliang (25 years old) vs yang yang from the lost tomb (24 years old at the time)

I'm sure it's the actors' real voices, because I know brigitte qiao's voice from variety show. But, whether it's dubbed or recorded on location, that I'm not sure.

Unfortunately this drama is by youku, which has no international version app yet, unlike iqiyi and wetv. So subs might take a little longer. I'm checking the youku youtube channel and hopefully they realize seven's popularity with international fans and sub this drama soon

I noticed not many chinese actors born in early 90's or older have good english pronunciation, while generally actors or idols born in late 90's and 00's have quite good english pronunciation (karry wang of tf boys, for example)
