I really liked tomb of the sea and couldn't even wait for next new episodes. But that only for the first half part of the drama. The second half part became boring for me. I even dropped it at one point and only picked it up again while waiting for ultimate note new episodes. Too much filler in the second part, especially can't stand liang wan's scenes. Too annoying. I finished it finally by skipping all the boring scenes and watching only the interesting ones

True! I watched The Lost Tomb 1 and had to wait for quite sometimes before the other series starting to come out. And this one, I even found it so suddenly without any warning. Only until I started the first episode, that I realized it's the continuation of the lost tomb series.

I will rewatch all the fighting scenes, be it xiao ge, xiao hua, or mr black. Those are my favorite! So cool! Found a clip on youtube I think, that compiled all xiao ge's fighting scenes. Will remind myself to download it and rewatch sometime later.

I have ordered Grave Robbers' Chronicles book set (book 1 - 6) from amazon and am now waiting for the shipment from US to arrived at my home. Very sad the kindle version is not available for my country and can only wait for the physical books. Once I finish the books, then I can read the translated continuation on net thanks to a generous soul out there.
But despite all the above plans, I will still miss the ultimate note. Really hope the continuation of book 8 - 9 will be made into drama with the exactly same production team and cast. A fan can have a wish, can't her?

1. Agree with christinatine. My advice: try watching ep 1 and 2 first and see if you like it. I always use this method to all the cdrama and kdrama that I watch. If you are instantly hooked, then continue watching. 2. This season is not scary. For me the lost tomb 1 is still the scariest.
I sooooo love wang yanlin x li yitong cp and their creativity. Looking forward to their working together creating more fun and heart throbbing love stories. Their short performance inspired some fun ideas in me. Oh, I so want their little short performance is realized into a real drama. Must be exciting!

After lots of skipping, I finally reached ep 49. It used to be interesting until the first half of the drama, then it got too drama, lots of talking, less interesting actions, so I got bored. I watched it first when it was airing in 2018, then left it halfway. Only lately after watching Ultimate Note, that I decided to continue where I left while waiting for new UN episodes. I skipped a lot of scenes here and watched only the interesting parts, such as gu tong jing and wang family's secrets or black glasses' scenes.
Oh my gosh, liang wan is very annoying. I don't like wang xiao yuan either. She's not as charismatic as ah ning. Probably the character writing, probably the acting that doesn't make me like her.
Just skip the female character's scenes, if you find her too annoying. Other than that, the thrilling and bromance are good
