If this was a western show I would agree with you but it is not. It is a show from a different country with different cultural norms. People should stop trying to turn asian dramas into western shows. Some of us watch these shows because they can be enjoyed as a family without those scenes….

Genuine question, why is it that in all the drama forum discussions people are always desperate for kisses and skinship between the leads? That should not define a relationship, especially a relationship in a historical asian drama….

When I first watched the drama there was post credit ending scene of the 2 leads in a field of red flowers after their presumed marriage but now it's been cut it looks like. Any one knows why or where I can watch this clip?

I don't think that’s a second wedding. It seems more like a ceremony where they are paying respects to their ancestors or their coronation since they become emperor and empress at the end of the novel

In the book she was betrothed to Wei Shao. Here she was betrothed to his brother. FL and her maids don’t know that and they are assuming that she was betrothed to WS

No one was allowed to leave so Yu Lou went to mom and told her Wei Shao needed to find the culprit.
