i am not saying it flopped, im saying a maybe situation where incase it flopped ktr character would still standout due to the sheer diffculty of such role and not all actors are capable of taking on such role where you need voice modulation, traditional singing and theatrical acting.

i have massive respect for the male lead actor. He takes roles that are unconventional and not many actors agree to them because it could ruin their image. He played a submissive bdsm guy, a villain, a spoilt rich ceo who is stupid, a normal man in IU's drama, a bully and now he plays a gym freak role wearing tight undies. This is how a true actor should be, not afraid of taking any kind of roles as long as they can know they can act.

You cannot argue with blind fans. Iu is a really great, but if someone has half brain IU didn't win not because her skills weren't good but it's simply because KTR role was too good that no one could win this year. This year of any other year, the role that KTR played is very rare. IU role was a story dependent role while KTR drama star is born is highly centralized around characters who form together a story. IU role shone brightly due to the damn good story better than KTR drama itself which is the resason the drama itself got the grandprize, while KTR role even if the drama flopped, her role still stands out because of its uniqueness. Her role required her to act like a man, woman, young girl, deranged girl, singing in two different voices, foolish village girl. The singing is not just some good voice only required, it actually required classical skills and lot of practice. If people still don't get why KTR isn't worth it, then they are just dumb.

I don't think as a standalone the 2nd season was bad, it is hard to match the first season due to 1st season being more light hearted and it was the first season so we were extremly impressed. It's hard to match that in season 2 given ML is now depressed. So for a continuation this is good enough, season 3 is the answer whether the series is good or not. But lot of webtoon readers are saying they rushed and remove dkeys moments occured in webtoon, so that is actually bad, webtoon readers are first to support the success of this series and they deserve to not have story or characters to change too much than little.

I loved this series, but I can't help but wonder Ae Sun and Gwan shik were able to make it today thanks to the kind people they were surrounded. Of course I cannot dismiss how they endured such hardships and losses, so having such kind people in life is the least god could provide them. Remember if you guys think Aesun or Gwanshik got it harder, there is even worse fates than them in reality. But what I actually loved about this drama is not gwan shik being a green forest or ae sun being such a determined person. WHAT I LOVED is the drama did indeed commented main leads were lucky to have people who cared about them, it never showed the life both leads had is only due to their hardwork alone.

The drama is story focused and popularity didn't carry this drama. If unknown actors acted instead of current leads, this drama would still be praised. When drama gives priorty to well written script, length of character doesn't matter, impact of the character matters more. People should know this before complaining.

i am only worried if KSR family, Garo sera is truly after justice or they hav other motives too. We all know how even after death some victims families are after money only.
