so true, i couldn't get through half of the first episode. It's like they are on a limited budget.

son seok koo had played villain roles where he really done a great job, but now he is a hero while choi woo shik is the vigilante... my my I can't wait for this.

I liked this drama a lot and gave it a 9 rating. I viewed this drama with different perspective where I actually felt characters are portrayed well enough for me. But I also understand what you said in your review and your perspective. Writing wise I don't think is drama is 100% perfect either. But still with other kdramas out there this falls under well written category. Though not perfect and not for everyone.

I thought so first, but liberation notes airs after an hour later of our blues. So it's not like theu are competing on same time. Maybe you are right.

It's sad to see the viewership ratings of this drama is only been decreasing. It's around 2%. It feels so weird that just because it's a melo, pace is slow and slice of life genre, it is not getting ratings. Also tbh, there is lot of humour in this, a witty humour. So it's not entirely melo either. It's best slice of life to me. I am still guessing why this is not been liked despite the 4 episodes have been really well written and directed. Or maybe I am the only one who feel this. I guess not everyone likes this kind of drama. If this drama will be good till the end like it is now,I guess people will be searching this later in hidden gems section.

Some are saying the direction isn't good and it's too melo. I guess people have different opinions. Cause I for the one loved the direction itself. Subtle details like when Mi jeong says "who are you the person who will love me" and she looks around strange men and wondering if he is the one. Or when son seok koo in his first appearance watches the sun behind mountaint, the scene was shot behind his back was such a beautiful scene or the lights hazing effect at the bar when mi jeong and that birthday girl exchange one of the best dialogues. I cannot see how the direction is bad, because all I have seen are unique way of shooting scenes till now

Why did the ratings gone to 7 when it is only 2 episodes. It's hard enough this drama is competing with Again my life and Our Blues which has A list actors with lot of fans. If Kim JI Won isn't part of the cast, people wouldn't even know this drama exists. Cause every Korean comments I am reading, people are mentioning only KMJ name and rarely Lee min Ki. The writer of this drama who also wrote my mister had also received viewership so so in south Korea despite the drama was really good. Meanwhile dramas like Business Proposal get so much viewership. No hatred for Business Proposal, but let's face it, as a writer dramas like these hard to write compared to business proposal. If this drama goes on as good as the first 2 episodes, I pray it viewership also increases along with ratings.

Exactly so relatable. We live in a world where everything is costly, to earn more money we first have to spend our youth away to get a half decent job, and work hours till night for salary. Phones, laptops lasts only 5 years max, again have to buy for ridiculous amounts. (just some examples). Previous generations, computers had lasted decades. People are too tired to make time for other people and hence relationships are sucking these days.

I like how s\Son Seok is a diverse actor. He doesn't hesitate to take gritty roles and always has good taste in selecting his dramas. Whether they are hit or miss is completely different story again, but I like how he goes for something unique and different. I can't wait to see him as villain. So excited.

I watched 10 episodes and you did great job by dropping. The drama is too much suspense and lacks character development. It doesn't give a strong reason why hero is able to see visions and many other things also didn't kake sense to me. The writer is now trying to create theories to valid all the things that happened till. If I have put in few words "the drama is trying to prove its good by using just circumstantial evidence" lol. Still I am going to watch it because I jave invested in 10 ep 😅

dude I dropped it in 3rd episode itself when I sensed the love triangle and also in the initial episodes some of the things didn't make any sense to me, like how they put the demon painting in a simple wooden box with no lock and even few other plots bothered me.

it seems like the writer is not so good with thriller part and keeping it to the minimum. I bam forcing myself watch the rest of episodes. I mean enough with the too much romance part.

Thanks, I know Yoon park isn't as famous as our main leads, but this doesn't mean you just give second leads few minutes of screen time. if they really didn't want second leads to have much screen time, they shouldn't mention us they are main leads and shouldn't given us a story line from their characters. then it would justify nam gyuri and yoon park getting less screen time.

god, I really didn't like episode 12,. first 15 minutes of the episode is once again wasted by useless side characters who are still promoting the already established love story of main leads. Seconds leads are no where concerned. I feel like Namgyuri self healing is going downward and thriller part of yoon park is out thrown. And now as if the already lot of screen time isn't enough for main leads they are throwing break up trope. I feel like the 2nd leads stories will be rushed and wrapped in the end.

to be honest, given all our leads, the common thing is childhood trauma. I personally feels like, I an chase is the most suffered one among all, but we only seen a lot of emphasis gone towards young do, who only lost his mother and brother, but still has lot of people like his friends and dad. even other main leads have family and friends, only Ian chase is the loneliest of all and till now no self healing is shown to his character while the other leads got it. I'm sure they will rush his thriller part.

I think this drama would be much greater than it already is, if the side character's get little screen time and the shift is focused towards second leads. I enjoy the side characters in this drama, but at the same time I can see they are consuming the second leads time. And also certain scenes of side characters are just humoring and are encouraging love story between main leas, which was all good but sometimes I feel they are showing those scenes too many times.

You said exactly what is in my mind. I'm sure if the main characters of this drama are replaced by some average actors, we can see the ratings fall down and people really writing an unbiased review. I feel bad for actual good stories like misaeng, strangers from hell get no recognition despite the wonderful story screen writing they possess.
