Didn't you know that being beautiful is all what matters in this industry nowadays? They are bringing a lot of…
It's sad. I like korean dramas mainly because they are short and actors don't leave in season 2 or netflix cuts off season 2 . Even if romance or legal or any other genre drama may not be realistic they still feel plausible. And gems like Miaseng, reply series, hospital playlist, etc are the reasons why I love kdramas and these series proved all you need is a good script, great direction and actors who can act. Nothing can ever beat this recipe.
Female lead can she act??? Her dialogues and the acting she brings to it doesn't show any experience, she is very stiff with her expressions and even her dialogues don't have the pronunciation that other actors have . I saw if she did any other works as her name is new and never heard of, I don't know what her previous experiences but her acting is very bad. And she landed main role that too in a drama where both male leads are experienced and popular. It feels like she got the role by pulling some strings through her agency. Or else how else is this possible. I can understand entertainment industry isn't fair but at least bring talent and hard work if you are going to act in a main role. It is hard to support such people.
Really liking the series so far. I know he's the MC and all but other members needs to do something too. He's…
I agree, the writer is so focused on making ML a capable detective, while at the same time forgot it will put the other cops on downside. My other issue is also is that most of the cases solved by ML is by using his money/connections, so in a way we can't blame the other cops useless because they don't have those resources. FL is the one who actually found it was a serial killing case, although ML is the first one to solve it is a murder case. Similarly FL is the one who tracked down the scarf of the painter case, when ML is the one who got hint by luck because he bought the painting and noticed the signature. I really love the series, but I can't say ML is a great cop either when he using his money. On other hand I like his intuition and gut feeling. With training, he will become good cop and best in team along with FL.
Police are fire whenever ml is from police background ..police are shit and they need help whenever mls are not…
Thank you for saying that, just reverse the gender, if ML is played by female, ML character would be getting complaints like why can't she solve cases without money, why she is using gaming chair in police station that is so inappropriate, why does she always have smug look. Can't she solve anything without using connections. I feel sad the immense hatred towards a capable FL character and the already negative reviews is pulling the show down. My only complaint in this series would be the depth of characters. So far, we only seen some depth of ML and FL and that storyline isn't new, but I kind of want to see more depth of other characters and their relationship with another, so it will make viewer more attached to the show. If people complained more on the storyline, it would be so great and agreeable, but god the hatred for FL is something I don't get it. Female actors and their roles always get more hate compared to same roles played a male. I am not blaming males, because haters can be females and males.
drama cool not working, I even tired with vpn and different browsers. Anyone facing same issue and any alternative kdrama sites that is quick on updates like dramacool. Kiss asain is good but it is too late.
same thoughts. I feel the killer plot was unnecessary. Instead they could build focus on the actual relationship between three of the leads instead of the highschool crush style of love which is still ongoing.
Those Literally HATING on this drama for the sort of humour (Butt stuff) It presents and rating it based on that…
tbh, i thought it was cringey about touching butts because of trailer, but I watched first episode, it was hilarious, not over the top or cringey. Plus the slap stick comedy style of other roles, makes the touching butt stuff is nothing compared to the other quirks happening. I am really enjoying this drama. Even if people are prejudiced, they should only comment after watching at least few episodes.
Ok, this is going to be a simple romcom with cliches. So as for writing I would only expect it to be entertaining and funny like business proposal. First episode is average for me, but ML is my fav so I am going to stick through few more episodes.
If this writer wrote such story on her own accord and wasn't pressured than I really hate her. How being a women herself, she wrote such story. This is such an insult for women who go through abuse.
ML is playing safe, he could have tell FL that her project is getting stolen, but he didn't. Maybe he is afraid FL would say to her boss and it would create havoc which in turn company would find him at fault so he simply decided to leave it as it is. But I like his character, he is the typical bent employee but he has potential to grow as he is the one who suggested for fair recruitment on experience although his greedy boss turned the position into temporary contract.
It's sad I am seeing so many negative comments in other video streaming platforms, like pace is too slow, it's boring on first episode itself. Realistic office dramas like these usually start in slow pace manner only, you need to give at least 4 episodes a try to see whether this series has potential to be good or not. I am hoping this would progress and become as good as Misaeng.
can anyone recommend any kdramas that are just like this , melo but heart racing. I can only find just between lovers, my liberation notes which have same depiction. A few suggestions would do.
Most of the historic Kdramas will have one old minister and prince + one waste KingIdk why they don't try dramas…
or better yet why do the male lead of any historic kdrama should always be a good person who only goes after justice. I meant can't we have a gray character. I'm pretty sure kings and queens at those times aren't entirely good people, they too must have get their hands dirty to be in that position. But at same time they aren't bad people but more realistic human that what we usually see in kdramas.
even romance, i just wish they write bold female leads. When i say bold I don't mean heroine who is secretly a warrior or someone who blindly stands up to justice but somehow doesn't get killed.
i want good politics, scheming villains who aren't ministers always. Blood, grit and shows what people in those era actually are like.
Lately I've only been watching historical series. They all seem the same these days. This too, based on the trailer.…
Same feel. I always hope somebody comes up with a gem historic Kdrama like Queen Seondeok (but you will need patience to watch this drama as it has many episodes), Kingdom, The only and best zombie historic kdrama. Red sleeve, a realistic love story (although some elements in romance aspects are cliché), but the story in the entirety is realistic and literally well done. Under queen's umbrella is also pretty good. Mr. queen is a great comedy historic comedy. Bloody heart is good political romance. The king's love is also good, although it's cliche, with love traingle, the unexpected ending and story line is still great for me. few examples I have left. Huh i am really waiting for a well written and directed kdrama this year.
Probably. I checked the first ep and it wasn't catch my interest at all. Another clichy one.
i felt the same. but I'll give few more episodes as a try. Only crash course in romance is my ongoing Kdrama. even though it has predictable story line, still the direction , pace , acting, and writing is all good and consistent so far which makes me like it. The first episode of this drama would been great if it was a paced little slower instead of diving right into action. TBH I was actually hoping the curse to be real. Expected a lil fantasy element, but I guess it wont be there.
not really that dark imo. I mean yeah it has dark tragedy events, but you don't actually get the feel of it. It's like watching a cartoon evil picture but you don't feel dark because it's a cartoon. Anyway that is how I felt. give it a try, you might feel dark. Who knows?
I was not really captivated by the first episode. It was okay... The families' murder unfolded kind of fast and…
well, that similarities you mentioned you can pretty much find in other kdramas too lol. I wasn't captivated by first episode. It was rushed. There wasn't a proper built up that creates anticipation to viewers. I will watch few more episodes and hopefully the drama will spike my interest.
How can anyone have an opinion by watching just half of an episode !
ever heard of pilot episode? Also if my opinion is wrong just look at the viewership ratings on Wikipedia. If this is a good or even a decent show why are the rating so low then? And it dropped suddenly after first episode. So Stop being so hurt by criticism, everyone has right to say their opinion on first episode itself, why? because the first episode itself told very clearly how this show is going to be. If it all i hear decent things by genuine criticism, ill watch this show then.
PS - i only care about direction, writing and good acting. I never really care about actors private life. So incase you think i have some hatred towards the actors, I don't.
I might watch the next 2 ep, but the writing is not that good. Both the ML and FL have flaws in their acting,…
yes, i don't get why FL is getting blamed. Also tbh, i feel like the production itself is not good which is somehow effecting the acting. because from previous works, we all know they can act decently.
even romance, i just wish they write bold female leads. When i say bold I don't mean heroine who is secretly a warrior or someone who blindly stands up to justice but somehow doesn't get killed.
