I have a very weird feeling about Park Gye Won. He treats Lee Tae strangely. If he wanted , he could have Lee Tae poisoned in zero time. Yet he "plays" with him and tests him if he'll choose love or power. It's like he's trying to train him into becoming a ruthless Emperor. That's very weird. WHAT IF...... Lee Tae is adopted by the king and Quinn and in reality he's Park Gye Won biological son ?! 😱 I'm saying this because that bastard PGW is constantly trying to train Lee Tae and he doesn't just kill him. So I thought that the scriptwriter has a plot twist in his mind . I know this idea is disgusting. It's horrible. I hope that it'll never happen. Lee Tae would commit suicide if he was ever to find out this truth. I hope it's just my imagination and nothing else. It grows for 0,6% in views on every episode which is a lot because Koreans are 51 milions in population It's an expensive production , so I'm glad that it makes its money back. Making it was a good investment for the producers. This will help future Sageuks. Production teams will pick up sageuks more confidently in the future since dramas like this one do well in viership. It's not a rom comedy but still it rocks no matter what 😅👍

Yeah exactly. He's severely depressed and emotionally broken. He feels trapped in this hellish palace. Yo Jung used to be an "emotional support" for him because he used to meet her once a month and she was helping him relieve all that stress. Now he can't even do that . He blames himself for the deaths of his parents and hers parents as well . The poor guy the only thing he did was just falling in love with her when he was a teenager. He was young and he couldn't predict what was coming. He just loved her. He didn't asked for all those deaths. He's a victim as well. I find it absolutely logical that he breaks down and cries in many scenes. He lives in a golden prison (the palace) filled with people ready to devour him at any moment. If I were him I would had freaken out. And yet he's still holding on , he tries to drive her out of the palace to save her. After all the shjt he's being through , he remains kindhearted deep inside . Everytime he looks at her with watered eyes I love it. She's his reason for living
