What in the hell did I just watch from episode 5. Emperor decides to lie and say she is jang hyuk niece and abandons…
He doesn't abandon her. Did you watched ep 6 preview trailer ? This is a secret passage. He saves her by sending her out of the palace. He gave her freedom. It's the same passage he was using to get out of the palace in secret and meet her once a month. Anyways. I bet now that she's free , she gonna meet those servants from her old house who escaped and she'll be glad that they are alive. A servant said "I'll go back to find lady Jeung". So the writer probably will make her meet that servant , that's where the plot goes I think. I also bet that she'll come back to the palace to help the emperor (but that's only my theory). One thing is sure.... That with this secret passage she can come and go in and out of the palace without anyone noticing. It's a huge "weapon" that she can use in her advantage. She can still meet the Emperor and assist him without being in the hellish palace
I've watched all the eps and I wanna analyse Yoo Jung's character below β€οΈ
In ep 3 when he told her he's betrothed ... instead of being angry with him she chose to persuade him into choosing her instead. Sho is she just too in love with him to let him go ? NO She's not just in love with him . She admires him wholeheartedly for saving her in the past. She doesn't see him only as a lover. She sees him as a guide and guardian , a friend , an ally in those hard times . That's why she can't let him go no matter what he tells her. They don't just love each other erotically. They respect and admire each other. Yoo Jung won't stay angry with him for long , she needs him in her life. The same goes for him. Yoo Jung is literally the only "light" in Emperor's Lee Tae sad ,dark life. They give eachother a reason to live. Those two will be separated only by death. Nothing else can stop them !!! Let's hope writers won't use "death" π Those type of dramas normally have a bitter ending . I'm holding my breath
the anticipation is unbearable at this pointπ€―π€―π€―π€―
Hahahah I know. I normally hate Mondays ( for being the first day of the week that my damn work starts ) ....but this drama made me anticipate Mondays lol Monday Tuesday my favourite days βΊοΈ
If it involves cheating I'm outahere π I don't need a second "world of married" If they divorced and they slowly work their way back together, count me in
He was warned by the Shanghai Tax Office 3 times about anomalies but he chose to ignore. If this was a middle…
Yep , exactly π And we all know Chinese actors who managed to slowly come back on acting , after ...2- 4 years of their accusation and rebuild their career. It's not a complete destruction for them
watch some romcoms i think with a show this heavy we need them
Yes . The first 6 episodes had a cringe humour that I disliked a lot. I'm a big fan of the female lead . I've watched her in the historical "The Crowned Clown" and in the police drama "Memorist". Despite all that I still didn't liked "The red sleeve". But that's only my opinion. No offense. Just my personal preference

Exactly. Finally a person that agrees lol π Also for those people who think that China is a primeval place with a strict government that steals all your money if you cheat on taxis....let me tell them this.... I live in Greece , we have the same laws as the rest of the Europe . If you deliberately don't pay fully your taxes and if you have depth more than 3000 Euros you can go to jail ( and 3000 Euros are equal to 4 months salary on an average job here ...it is a small amount of money but it can send you to jail.) The same shit happens to the rest of the Europe. Countries have strict laws about taxis invasion. China is forgiving. It takes away the actor's career and fame by erasing them from the show industry, but allows them to be free and just pay in money what he/she has to pay. Not all "civilized" countries do that in the rest of the world π

I know π They just love Deng Lun too much to admit that he cheated taxis and destroyed his epic career on his own. Actors are normal people , like us. They can do mistakes. It's human. The guy did a mistake. I'll keep hoping that Netflix will buy "Night wanderer" 's rights so it can release it. Or else we'll never see it in China for sure. As for Deng Lun , I'll always like him as an actor. He's a very good professional. But the mess he created will effect not only his career , but also the producers of the drama , his co -actors , Ni Ni , us whom wanted to watch this epic drama etc
I don't think he would get an award for cheating on taxes in any other country either.
His restaurants are all open and function normally as always. They just removed his name in the logo outside of the restaurants. Nothing else. He still owns his restaurants and they sell food pretty fine. The government didn't take his businesses

I'm not into rom coms but thanks for suggesting it βΊοΈ For example even Red sleeve was too comedic for me. I prefer serious romance/Historical dramas
