Because there was a picture with the 2 male leads , being in a marriage ceremony..... And people went crazy and said "Aw they are getting married in the drama , how cute , please released it quickly"

Immortality is a Boys Love drama. China released a new law about BL dramas. They can't air unless the romance is almost non existent. I'm not into BL but I feel sorry for the fans.
China is very strict towards gay people. Whomever opens up about being gay for example, can easily lose his job because of that. Don't expect Immortality to be released with much romance in it. It will never pass the censorship.
It's how the country operates and works.
We have to respect that I guess....

The drama will be censored.
I doubt how much of his "dark" personality will make it to screen. Let's be honest. There is no way this drama will pass the censorship with an unethical Ttj.
In the drama "the wolf" for example, the attempted rape scene from Lord Bo (ML) was watered down .
It couldn't even pass the censorship for having too many fight scenes. Most of them got cut and it took the drama ages to air due to having too many fight scenes. In order to air it , they cut most of the fight scenes of the ML and also all the scenes from when he got captured and tortured by the king for years. China has plenty of restrictions about the lead characters of a drama . They can't go far into committing unethical acts. Too sad .... We'll never enjoy a morally "grey -dark" TtJ. If the drama will try to follow the novel precisely , it'll never be released. It'll stuck for ever.

An other example is the "The blue whisper".
Chang Yi after the betrayal , doesn't act as cruel to FL as he did in the novel. They did it for the censorship

I don't mind 280 episodes lol.
If I'm bored with a dialogue of side characters I just skip.
I don't mind the big number of episodes at all.

I don't have a problem. In case I'm bored I can skip some dialogues and move forward. Not a big deal

By ep 15 they already share the same bed and cuddle. They become more and more united and they have matured both a lot. Even her. Lol
I don't have a problem with the Female lead's character. I just dislike Baby Zhang's acting in this particular drama. But that's only my personal opinion.

Yeah.... she's very harsh to him and she's very violent. She annoys me. But I've watched some clips on YouTube from 20+ episodes and it seems she'll become more calm , cute and supportive towards him . On the other hand he'll become more strong- willed. It seems their relationship helps them grow as individuals. That's why I keep watching. I see some character development on the way 😅

He's very tolerant towards her.
She's very harsh to him sometimes and she insults him a lot , but he never complains . When she lied about being in love with someone else (in order to avoid their marriage) , he was very supportive. To the point that he assisted her to run away despite loving her !!
That's true love guys . To support the one you love ....to let him/her go and wait if they'll come back.

He's very shy so far , he's scared to express his feelings to her , but he gives her countless gifts and supports her in every way he can. Sometimes she acts a little annoyingly but there are times she becomes more calm and cute so , I'm keep watching. ❤️❤️
The drama has some serious moments. It's not too comical. I like it a lot so far.
The female lead's family is very united. They deal with every problem together. The male lead whom was an orphan , is craving for appreciation , love and attention. I believe he wants to marry her not only to repay hers family kindness but to become one of them . To be a part of a family for once in his life ! It's not only that he's in love with the girl or wants to pay back the depth by merrying . He's craving for care and family love

I check this page every day , I'm desperate for any kind of knews . I can't wait for this drama to air and the fact that it could be released in 2023 drives me crazy. I love heartbreaking xianxias and I really have no idea how I'll manage to survive until this one airs. The costumes, the cinematography , the sets all look so expensive. As expensive as Love Poetry was.
Plus ....Leo Luo's character is a dark male lead. Not the usual upright noble guy who does everything in a perfect way. For once we get to see a morally grey character as a male lead !!!

Wow this drama might be as heartbreaking as "The journey of flower" ,"Goodbye my Princess" , "The wolf" etc
