Because in the entire dramaland there are only 3 or 4 dramas with white haired guys.
It wasn't Dong Hua , so I thought it would be that mediocre one , miss the dragon.
I can't wait for Immortal Samsara. I hope it won't disappoint ! The cast is great. It's all up to good writing now

Can't all production teams take "Till the end of the moon" as an example and promote their dramas more !? 😅
I mean ... those guys in "Until the end of the moon" just began filming and they've already released 4 YouTube videos with Leo Luo and Bai Lu wearing costumes and promoting the drama.
All production teams should do that for their high budget dramas ! How we're supposed to survive the long wait without even a new trailer or something to discuss lol.
I don't care if TBW will be postponed or not. I need a trailer now. I need to keep my mind busy 😊

The 2 released trailers for the NW are just .....epic! The budget looks extremely high . The atmosphere and cinematography are just on point and of course the acting is gonna be superb. Both mains are veteran- actors. I was so glad when I read your comment that they gonna be on T Magazine.

For "The Night wanderer" , it's understandable because it's been planned for a summer 2022 release.
What I don't get is why TBW didn't even get a tiny promo. I hope it won't be pushed back on April ++

Every drama after this one needs to be on its level

I don't care that much for CGI.
For example Ten miles of peach blossoms is my all time favourite Xianxia and the cgi is horrible XD
If a drama has nice plot , good acting , some character development.... I'm happy. I don't need much. :)

I remember being so exited for the upcoming Mirror Twin cities.
But it ended up being a disappointment in terms of plot and production.
Now I eagerly wait for it to finally be over so I can watch Blue whisper lol
For me , the only useful thing MTC can do is ... be over

I guess it doesn't have much CGI.
It's not a Xianxia drama. I'd loved it if it was airing in summer for example.

Ziyi produced the drama. So .....no salary for her I guess

A drama similar to "Rise of the phoenixes" is "The rebel princess".
Trust me , it costed more than 100m US dollars to be produced, the plot is outstanding and the acting is top.

You'll miss the great story that the 2nd couple has.
Min Yang and Ling Long had a great story even if they were just the side couple. They were rocking 😅
They endured so much suffering and took so much character development until the end of the drama.
They fell in love when they were innocent teenagers (since they grew up together), but their love matured and deepened through the numerous sufferings they had to endure.
They sacrificed so much for one another throughout the drama.
Ming Yang even had to kill some of his friends and innocent classmates in exchange for her life and then he had to endure all that guilt . They both had to find a way to forgave themselves , stop feeling guilty and love each other again ,under new conditions. Such deep story ....worth watching.
Ming Yang became a "morally grey" character.
He was forced to do horrible things and even murders to save the love of his life and then he willingly accepted all the punishment for his horrible wrongdoings. He lost "himself" in order to save Ling Long from the demons and he had to "rebuild" himself from point zero.
Ling Long on the other hand , couldn't stop blaming herself because she was the reason Ming Yang commited those crimes. They had to rebuild their relationship and learn to love one another under those new horrible conditions and under extreme guilt.
They both reached their mental limits under all that stress and wondered if they truly deserve to stay alive (since they had blood of innocents on their hands).
Dark story but they found happiness somehow.
And all that is only half of their story. There's a lot more to watch about them.
I didn't even spoil half of it lol

She'll jump off the tower . She'll be dead soon and then resurrected after 100 years by Su Mo.
So deliberately they made Bai Ying boring because she'll will soon be replaced by the next version of herself.

I'm waiting for Bai Ying to die , and resurrect into Bai Wei.
Because only then she'll have a strong character.
This version of herself will soon be dead. We gonna stick with Bai Wei for the rest of the drama. She will be our true female lead

Yeah that's so sad.
I really hope they'll change it because I don't want to experience an other dragedy like "The wolf" or "Goodbye my princess " or "Journey of flower ".
Real life is sad enough for me.

But please no need to panic.
A lot of Xianxia dramas don't follow by the novel and change the ending into a happy one.
We're just a few Episodes in and it already has plenty of changes.
Viewers prefer a H.E. so the latest Xianxias have happy ones.

He died on the island and his last words to her were "Remember to forget me" but no need to panic because the drama could be completely different. It already is a lot different from the novel even though we're just a few episodes in.

His character is also nice.
He's kindhearted so far , but with a tragic past. Zheng is very charming as a man .

It is expensive to hire the famous actors to do their own voices. That's why they prefer to hire dubbing actors who do the work cheaper and faster.
I don't like it either. But dramas are all about making money and there are companies behind them. So it is what it is ..... I quit complaining 😅
That's how industry works sadly

It gets beter and better as it progresses
