According to weibo, the drama is set to air in April. Also, according to Avenuex, it already passed the censorship,…
Really ? Wow thanks!
Also Avenuex is very accurate with what she says on her Ytube channel. I trust her opinion.

I really enjoyed the first episode! The cinematography is beautiful and the acting is good. Also is that Bian…
Yes it's him, but I'll always remember him as Ye Hua from Eternal love. I don't care which drama he's into. It's Ye Hua for me xD
( Actually I'm not big fan of Ye Hua's character , but that deep manly voice he had in combination with his memorable unique character got engraved in my mind.) - -which is actually kind of unfair for Bian Jiang lol

Title Storm Eye
The whole cast is from TMoPB ... ** sniff**
Li Jing is finally gonna get Bai Qian lol xD
My question is ....where is Wengo Gao in this drama!
I'm kidding . The reason why these 4 actors often stick together in many dramas is simply because they work for Yang Mi's show production- company. Many chinese have actually complained that Yang Mi is using the same people again and again in her dramas . Personally, I don't mind at all . Nice to see all this cast again

Go Geon is the most interesting character in here. He's the only one who's multi-layered and truly morally "grey" (maybe that'll change down the road) . He's not good but definitely not too bad either therefore I find him very intriguing as a character. Too bad I get bored from the main leads and the story. I'm 4 eps in and I really hope the script will get better as it progresses because so far it's mediocre as hell.
(My personal opinion only. I hope everyone else is enjoying. No offence )

I trust the director but not the screenwriter who loves to torture his main characters. Hopefully, the writing…
If the script is similar with "princess silver" and the ending with "princess weiyung" we're screwed xD

Does anyone know any other xianxia dramas that are airing this year besides for this one? Although it might be…
Mirror : twin cities will be released later in 2021. It has released a trailer already and the production process is moving fast. I'm not sure if it counts as xianxia. But it surely is full of Chinese mythology, mermaids etc. I don't believe it would be as good as Ancient love poetry though...
To be honest, in my mind I've ancient love poetry as high as Eternal love , Love & destiny and Love & Redemption. I doubt that we'll find an other good Xianxia as this one in 2021.
For many months its release date was set in February. I was very disappointed when I found out it got postponed.

Until yesterday it was called "lady shiyi" and today suddenly it changed its name 3 days before its release date. Come on China ! Firstly they postpone endlessly their dramas with inaccurate release dates and then they change the titles a few days ahead. Show us some mercy! Anyways, it's a great drama. I'm looking forward to it. Good actors and great cinematography ❤

Title Must You Go?
I prefer mostly historicals. If it involves nodern era and it only shows their past lives for brief moments then I'm out.

(Personal opinion)
I love crime/investigation/ police dramas but this one sadly has an odd "unconvincing" plot and unlikable side characters. If it wasn't for Yeo Jin Goo's exceptional acting, I would have dropped it already. I'll stay for him and I hope the writing will improve :)

Title Humans
The plot reminds me a little of the PS4 game "Detroit Become Human" and An Yi's character is similar with Kara's. ❤

This drama has surpassed so many of my favourites it's insane!! I LOVE this drama and i'm definitely going to…
I'm obsessed with ep5 scenes were Jin Won jumps in the pool to save Do Hyon Soo and gives him air underwater. Then desperately screams for help and tries to revive him.
I'm also obsessed with the scene were she's pregnant and they just have moved to their new house. Do Hyon Soo had prepared a big surprise with beautiful lights-decoration in the house and her favourite food.
I also love the way she gently picks up and smells his clothes in a pure romantic way ep16 (when they had separated for a while and she was missing him badly).
I love the fact that Jin Won never abandoned her husband but instead she supported him 100%.
Do Hyon Soo knew that he had a social disorder. He new he was "abnormal" and he tried his best to be the perfect husband for Jin Won. He surpassed himself and his difficulties and he became the perfect man. We .... the normal people ...we never give 100% of our efforts on something. We never try much to achieve our goals. So the drama even has secret "teachings" in its script^^^ xD

Lastly I love the chemistry between them and Eun Ha. It's as if they are a true family.
I want a season 2. Maybe now that Neflix picked it up , they will renew it for an 2nd season

P.S. That villain guy , the original Baek Hee Sung ... was literally freaking me out ! Especially when he was biting his nails . He said in an interview that he had only played on Comedies and he was feeling insecure about this difficult role of a psychopath. Buddy don't worry , you gave us nightmares xD
Much love. He's talented and freaky as hell !

First 5 mins of ep 1 were not necessary but also for me it was a little bit cranky. I just could not figure why…
I used to like Kim So Hyun in some of her previous main roles ( The tale of Nokdu , The emperor owner od the mask). I wish I could get more attached with her new character here as Pyeong Gang . Sadly I can't.
Maybe you're right and they should just give them a little more screen time so we can know better the leads.
It's a 20 ep drama and still the writers are in such a hurry.

After watching 2 Episodes the Positives I found was :
- Expensive production, nice locations , good looking costumes

The Negatives were far more :

-The first 5 mins of the 1rst ep give away all the plot of the drama until the very end lol
- The 2 main leads don't seem very convincing to me (especially the male lead's acting , the female actress is good ). Maybe the roles are badly written
-The plot quickly gets draggy
-I don't see any likable side characters at all.
That's my personal opinion only. I really wanted to like it since I watch every historical out there but in the end ...I couldn't like it at all. I hope everyone else is enjoying. :)

This drama is rated 18+ so it will be dark huh
Omg yeah I just noticed that now that you pointed it out :0
Normally K-dramas are 15+ and contain a lot of "dark content", murders, mental health issues, psychopathic killers and brutal crime scenes.
What extra a 18+ rated can have ?! lol
I guess only sex scenes can make it an 18+
(it just says violence and profanity though)
