Hello, I just noticed (from your watchlist) that you're watching "The rebel princess ". Congratulations xD This drama has so much quality, high budget, expensive costumes and sets, excellent acting. How we gonna move on after finishing it ?! :'( What on earth I'm gonna watch after this one. It set the bar so high that every other historical/ romance will seem mediocre xD This drama along with Nirvana in fire and Flower of evil all conquered my mind and soul for ever. I'll always remember and cherish them.

Most well known are "Ancient love poetry" with Xu Kai and "Novoland Pearl Eclipse" with Yang Mi. Both will come out in February. Who would care then about this one xD On top of that there will be plenty of good Korean historical/romance in the 1rst half of 2021 plus some good modern ones. We'll all be busy as hell haha
I'm not a fan of William Chan but I like Yang Mi and of course I love well-written Historical/ romance dramas so I'm in . ❤ I hope the writers will do a good job here. I don't wanna experience a 2nd "legend of fei " xD

Anyways ...everytime I complain about the amount of sadness , heartbreaks and misunderstandings in Xianxia/Romance Dramas and everytime I'm getting addicted to one of them again and again xD Well since I survived watching "The journey of flower" and "The wolf " this one will seem to me 'happy' ...no matter what it is.
We need political leaders like Xiao Qi in our actual life lol. He took a tiny portion of food because he knew they didn't have much supplies , he waited his turn in line and he denied the extra food. What a man ! I love him xD He's the perfect match for Awu !❤
I want more so much!!! When General Song took the soldiers to defend the gate, I want to cry!!!
Yeah it was so emotional !! Also I liked the part were Awu rejected Zidan . She remained loyal to her husband (not because she had to , but because she was truly feeling that way ). She was firstly happy to see Zidan again but then she realised that he's not as good as she previously thought. She even showed Zidan what true courage means. She went out there all alone and negotiated with thousands of enemies and king Jianing. General Song , general Wu and all the others after seeing her countless strength and courage, they threw their lives in the battlefield to defend the castle. A story of emotional strength, a story about people's loyalty, courage, what means to be fearless and defend the weak. This drama sets the bar so high. Every character is well written. Even the side characters have a "story behind them". I won't be able to watch any other historical after this masterpiece ❤
P.S. I was from one of those who preferred Zidan at the beginning of the drama lol. I felt sorry for their separation and I never wanted Xiao Qi. Only around ep8++ I appreciated Xiao Qi as a character and later on I completely loved him and Awu being together. Now that I saw Zidan again, I realised that he's an irresponsible man. He always acts with selfishness and he's not courageous at all. I can't wait for Xiao Qi to come and "save the day" !!!!! One subbed ep per day feels so little. I'm craving for more haha xD
Whaaaaaat was that cliffhanger on ep17 ?!! I'll die from so much agony. Never before on a historical drama I cared so much for the fate of a castle. If it'll actually fall or not. ❤ I've watched over 60 historicals. None of them was so well written and had such a high budget
General Xiao Qi and Wang Xuan are literally made for each other ! Best couple ever ❤❤ I can't belive that in the beginning of the drama I was preferring Zidan.. Lol I couldn't be more wrong.
In ep 10 Helan Prince made a bomb -belt with a trigger mechanism and put it on Wang Xuan so he can blow up her and General together! Wow this drama is full of surprises. I love it ! There are no tropes in this one. Such a gem. I've dropped everything to watch this one ❤

Sure the General is a honourable man and he's kindhearted and respectful. He's perfect for princess Wang.❤ What I'm trying to say is that ALL the "bad" characters in this drama are suddenly becoming good miraculously ! Without any decent explanation the writer makes all the evil people suddenly good. Rapists don't feel empathy (at least in my opinion). Rapist are just criminals and they don't care about others or acting cute towards their victims after they have attempted horrific rapes!! Both Crown prince and Helan prince have attempted rape and then they became "cute loving men". Lol that's lack of character development and bad writing. But... overall is a beautiful drama. I love it. xD
