It took 40 long episodes for Tie XinLan to choose which damn brother she actually loves jeez !!! That endless Love Triangle almost drove me crazy. I'm glad she chose a few episodes before the end lol. So irritating

Yeah the same goes for me too haha. I mean ... real life is sadly full of cheating, betrayals, fake people. At least in the dramas I watch I want a pure 100% targeted love with absolutely no betrayal ,lies or cheating xD I can't stand love triangles. A horrible KDrama that had a huge love triangle was "Born Again" where the female lead loved 2 guys at the same time lol . I had freaked out xD

In the trailer she tries to touch with her hand, Ha Ram (the blind astrologer) and when they both look each other ...we can tell there is chemistry. I think this romance would be something new and very refreshing. I've seen 1000 times young girls falling in love with the "handsome prince" in sageuk Historical Dramas and I'm a little tired of this repeated pattern. There was never before a story about falling in love with an astronomer who reads the future etc. That would be so cool and refreshing! My opinion only through .... Idk about what other people would prefer xD I just hope Ha Ram is the main male lead since as a character he is intriguing and very good-looking in comparison with the prince

This Movie can easily be compared in terms of quality with all those big dramas like Eternal love /Ashes of love/Pillow book/Love and destiny /Love and Redemption. Despite being a fantasy/ romance movie , it has a serious plot at it's not fluffy or childish at all. Actually most of the time it has a tragic tone, as our poor female lead Ah-Li is imprisoned in the island and is unable to escape her tragic fate. The parts were she raised that little fish (600 years old spirit Da-Yu) and the whole romance between them, were so heart-warming . I'd love to watch it as a 50ep drama. It has soooo much plot and a 2h movie is not enough to fit it all. She raised the little fish with so much care and he soon fall for her and became her lover. ❤ She taught him about human habits and emotions and he was constantly trying to make her happy. He was the only thing in her life that was giving her courage and strength to survive through all of this sadness and calamity. Also it has a huge plot twists towards the end !

No. But I've read some more detailed summaries than this one on kisskh. I really hope they'll censor it a little bit because it is a dark series and it's such a pity for Shawn Dou to take such "morally gray" role. In all his latest dramas he's moral as a character and personally I'd prefer he would remain that way.
Wow in the original novel Male lead is very bold and cruel as a character. He's possessive as hell and he doesn't hesitate to murder female lead's childhood friend. That's a huge turn off for me. I hope they'll censor his character because he's way worse that the ml in "Siege in the Fog" .

Historical Dramas are my favourite genre. To the point that I really watch modern dramas lately. I don't understand why people look down on them. Who can forget masterpieces like "The crowned clown", "Scarlet heart" and countless others. Everyone gets crazy with modern rom-com with silly plots.

I agree. If they just had a better plot they would have solved 95% of the drama's issues. I've no problem with cheap sets. The huge issue here is the non-existent script. Zhao Liying and Wang yi Bo have both so much talent and it remains unused here :'( Producers are like: "Baby I know you gonna watch it no matter what, since we got your favourite lead actors".

No character development, mediocre plot, cheap sets, 99% of the characters are unlikable. Good thing "The wolf" didn't do the same as this drama . I'm glad that some dramas keep the standards high out there. As viewers we need a better plot in order to watch a show. Writers should give some efforts to write a good script. In "Legend of fei" they clearly never bothered to do so. They relayed on famous actors and forgot about the rest of the things. This drama clearly doesn't have enough plot to cover 50 ep.

Good question. This also happened to many other famous dramas like "Ten miles of peach blossoms" except Flower of evil. In 1 day they got rated from 9.0 and 9.2 to 8.8 Ridiculous. At the same time some mediocre Neflix korean dramas keep their rating super high for no reason. :(
