YASSS!!! I'm happy too. I'm waiting his time for shining. I like his acting start from Love And Redemption.
looks like an adult manly man even with the glow up and long hair and flamboyant costumes. i never knew cheekbones can be a part of acting skills as well !
so happy to see Liu Zue Yi leading such a high-quality production! god knows he deserves it *satisfiedgrin* his eyes, expressions and body language prove his calibre *chefskiss*
i definitely think the sml would not have anooyed so many peaople if it was played by a better actor
actually, irrespective of plot and screen time allocation, the SML had the opportunity to completely steal the show. this particular role needed a seasoned actor who would make the illogical reasoning seem logical...
The SML role really did get more screen time than the ML. And it was frustrating. Who would make it NOT frustrating? an actor of Liu Xue Yi’s caliber. He would’ve been a great casting for Su Rong Qing.
In typical I-Land style, Fuko got K’d. :/ However, I understand the lineup strategy. Both for Enhypen and now for IZNA. Wishing Fuko debuts solo and becomes a star 🫶🏻
Oh, the drama was good. Good, not great. But good enough to binge in a go. Which is much more than a lot of other c-dramas out there. Came for LXY. Glad I stayed. *thumbs up* But I Don’t understand this comment section. Or the hate. *left the room*
@pyrus Exactly why I was so sure there’d be another part because the whole Wu Feng origin being connected to the Gong lineage and Weishan’s possible back story might pit the 2 leads against each other for a showdown. Tragic ending is a given for the leads for me at this point. Maybe a surprisingly successful couple would be Shang Jue and Qian having mended her way with a child on the way… the possibilities seem wasted with a rushed ending like that.
@Pyrus While I agree with you on the storytelling technique , the big reveal by both the antagonist and male lead doesn’t wrap it up neatly. Because the protagonist, which is the female lead, still had more to contribute. I’m not saying it should be a cookie cutter narrative with a predictable ending. But leaving a key character’s graph incomplete just because she’s a mysterious female lead doesn’t do justice to an otherwise extremely well made show. But that’s just my opinion.
This is one of the best part 1 endings I’ve watched in a long while. Now we just need to patiently wait for part 2. cause not getting one would be criminal. Period.
