i think Matsumoto Leo looks like Zhang Wan Yi.. similar intense gaze vibes! having said that, he was GOOD in Cinderella Closet, pretty much carried 95% of it for me. great first ML character choice.. very memorable in a sea of stereotypes! good job!

As long as i know, jung ilwoo is still jung ilwoo, a wellknown actor in korea. I think he accepts this drama because…
@yuzzuu Thanks for the update! You were the only one who actually responded to my question :) Seems like I wasn't too far off in my conjecture… recently I saw Lee Sang Yeob in a short vertical format Drama and I was very taken aback as well… along with JIW’s appearance in this long format, it really had me questioning if there's a new trend go in on or something..
I'm not a fan of long format dramas primarily because of the soap opera OTT madness. The only one I liked till date was Once Again. This one I will watch purely for Jung Il Woo. Cause I'm a fan. But here’s a question for anyone who knows better… has JIW’s commercial/popularity value dropped for him to take up this format? Is it considered a downgrade in any context? I'm curious…
A complete blast from start to finish! After a long time a drama kept me hooked because of how unpredictable the storytelling was :) also, with that ending, can we hope for a 2nd part with Nan Heng in the modern world? A bit like Kate & Leopold? That would be a total riot!
I watched this for Liu Xue Yi. That man is a fine actor. I usually enjoy all his projects and haven't struggled to complete any before, but this one was a strain. I could only power through because of LXY's performance. The storytelling was not smooth, and the production value was also not top-notch. I had a lot of issues with hair and makeup. Any other actor and this one would've sunk early on.
I'm reading a lot of positive reviews on this but currently on ep 11 and doesn't seem to keep me engaged :/ Does…
It picks up after a bit. I struggled a bit around that stretch s well…. But it gets much much better. Ended up binge watching through the 2nd half in fact! Dylan wang has matured and how 👌🏼
Because it's a POTENTIAL case of pedophilia, not just a simple relationship? I don't think we should jump to a…
i believe Jung Hae In and Yim Si Wan have already lost a lot of followers on social media... i mean why???!! what did they ever do? they and the others are all hardworking talented people who just happen to be on the show... why must anyone else suffer? i'm pissed off at the netizens who are being very illogical!
Love everything About this show ! Came for the leads, got much more… Including a very good portrayal by Miles Wei… looked like he acted his heart out with his character.
This is such a precious project… (almost) every guest is a talented singer and a top star in their field. To share screen space together is a natural treat for all music and entertainment fans. The timing of the scandal is sad, and honestly I don’t know much about it other than what’s released in the news, but why must anyone be publicly subjected to a trial for their past relationships? If I’m not wrong the issue refers to a relationship that’s almost a decade old, right? He’s here cause he’s an ‘88 liner, is a top star, and can sing very well! Let the show be really. what an amazing combination of people these 5 episodes have been so far! And the goal behind it is so much larger and deeper… live and let live I say.
So I skipped this show when it aired because the comments and reviews trashed it. now, while I wait for the remaining half of WTPR, I decided I needed more of YYS in my waking hours ;) I can see why the overall opinion was unfavorable. clearly the characters were lost for most of the show. but what made me watch through it was the fact that they were bumbling around making mistakes with their judgements and choices. IT WAS VERY REAL. I know of many instances from my personal experience and observations that were similar to the equations shown here. it wasn't great and there were a lot of judgement passers, but much of this does happen in the lives of everyday people. everyday work lives are boring. People are insecure. People face deaths in the family. Finance/wealth gaps are a reality. People question their self worth. Every single day. Impulsive decisions rule our lives. Infidelity is more common than we might want to accept. Humans are cowards. Women are toxic and and Men are selfish. This story didn't seem like it was trying to gift-wrap real lives in what is acceptable, pretty and popular. was it new? No. Could it have been made more exciting? definitely. but then real lives are far from exciting.
so happy to see Liu Zue Yi leading such a high-quality production! god knows he deserves it *satisfiedgrin* his…
oh and Wu Jin Yan is great too! loved her in The Double as well. actually both these projects have been shot very aesthetically. She's bringing this intense, no nonsense female lead energy that I find lacking in cdramas usually..
