Hello guys, I can't find the track 'Come Closer and Do Not Fear' anywhere. It was played at the end of episode four when they go to see the fireworks. Only the instrumental version is available online.
OHHH MY GAWD!!!!! I just finished watching this adorable tale of love and friendship. It’s so beautiful, pure and innocent. I’ve watched over 200 Korean and Chinese dramas and none of them hold a candle to Our Secret. Definitely going to rewatch this a million times. Every episode was so beautifully put together. I loved every moment between the two leads, it was organic and flowed so well. Kudos to all the actors, editors and director/ scriptwriter. Thank you for this cute drama.
This trope isn’t something that’s not been done before, but make no mistake this is no ordinary show. The…
Beautifully put. And to add, I love love love how they supported each other especially in their careers. The script was amazing, can't lie. So well placed.
I'm rewatching again and at Ep. 30. ISTG any who says YY can't act, is wooden, and can't facially emote needs…
Couldn’t agree more with you. I’ve been converted *_*. So initially I wasn’t very convinced with his acting. My first YY drama was Love O2O and he was a bit stiff. I felt he was relying too much on his looks and not his skills as an actor. Then I watched Once Upon A Time, that just ticked me off. Obviously I compared YY to Mark Chao (what stellar roles he played as Ye Hua and Mo Yuan). And the I watched Vanguard, the worst of all. I was sorely disappointed. Hence I skipped King's Avatar.
I was reluctant to watch this drama, but because of Dilreba I gave it a try. She blew me away with her performance in The Long Ballard. I cried :').
So I gave YAMG a try. For the first five episodes I was like here we go again with him being wooden and stiff, and then by episode 10 I was hooked. I literally goosebumps for some of the scenes. The way he portrayed his fears, his worries and his happiness was so sweet. Credit to the scriptwriter for the adorable banter and sweet scenes between them. The intimate scenes were shot with such grace and poise. Too bad it ended in 32 episodes. Loved every bit. Can't wait to see them act again together.
P.S. I can't get over the OST. Liu Yu Ning, you genius *_*
The reviews and the comments here really put me off prior to me starting this drama. Regardless, I decided to watch it. First it was because of Lin Qin, I think she's a good actress and of course Johnny Huang, I liked him in Love Designer.
I was looking to be hugely disappointed and thought I would drop it half-way, but boy I was hooked. I have to agree with most people here that Mi Gu was the most annoying character. I skipped most of her scenes. I don't like dumb females.
The chemistry between Liang Mu Ze and Xia Chu was mature and lovable. I liked how they supported each other's dreams and healed one and other. I love the enemies-to-lovers trope, so it was cute to watch them bicker. Watching him bake and deliver those cakes to her was the sweetest thing.
Zhou Ran/ Pei Yu was unlikable the whole time but towards the end I did feel a bit bad for him. He did love Mi Gu.
I have no words left for Tian Yong as I've shed enough of tears. Jiang Yuan as Liang Shao Xue is BRILLIANT. She starts off as any annoying brat who you want to dislike, but boy, she stole my heart. I honestly, desperately wished Tian Yong survived not just because he deserved some happiness, but because she needed him. I hated how he died. Broke my heart.
I was pissed when they killed off Li Lie, they really didn't need to do that. It was the worst when Xia Chu plays the baby's voice to him. It killed me. I really really really really liked him. Argh. That was my biggest pain point with this show.
Another pain point was Long Yi. I hate his guts. Why wasn't he executed? Did I miss something? Did Officer Rao kill him on the boat?
Definitely want a season two - Liang Mu Ze and Xia Chu's wedding and hope Officer Rao and his wife reunite.
Overall a good programme apart from the propaganda.
