A satisfying watch. Warm, fuzzy, comforting.

I enjoyed watching this so much. Great acting and I loved how the ending was done for such an out there/unusual premise. The love story was believable. The bonds between the chefs/cooks were not overly manufactured. The way the plot unfolds mostly made sense. The characters motivations were understandable. The only stuff that didn't make sense was how the King would continuously walk into traps. That was a bit of forced plot to move the story forward. I was thoroughly entertained and found the pacing good. The characters didn't really get a ton of character growth but they were mostly balanced from the beginning so it wasn't too annoying. I think it would have been interesting to see the King self reflecting on his growth arc, the people around him noticed he changed but he didn't seen to acknowledge it much. It would have been nice to see why the dad had asked her to bring back the Magunrok. Not a perfectly written story but very little done to be obviously annoying. A satisfying watch. As a foodie it is always fun to see people enjoying food.
