I'm currently watching ep 25 and it wants to give me a headache. Both Bei and Xiaoxi have their own insecurities but it annoys me how he accepted her past, continued to trust her and when it got to be too much he didn't breakup he just asked for a little time and yet when it was her turn she immediately gave up. She lied many times and continued testing someone while they were dating. Continued meeting up with Gong in private and were at times too friendly with each other knowing the history they had. I don't believe she couldn't tell Gong still had feelings. But now that she finds out about Bei she doesn't even take time to think things through. Doesn't even let him explain, she just immediately assumes she's right and ends things. How I wish they had not gotten back together in the final episode. They should've gone their separate ways.

He's evil, but he's pretending to care about his brother when he actually doesn't.

From what I read he was never treated as a human because he has always been sick and weak, so they wanted him to have an heir. He didn't want any because he knew they wanted that child to take his place. They ended up drugging him and locking YQQ in his room. So he hates his son because of how he was conceived and because he is a threat to him

I usually watch the first 4 episodes before deciding if I'll drop it or continue. The first 2 episodes were not bad but now a week later, for some reason I can't seem to find the desire to start episode 3.

I'm following the regular schedule so I just finished ep 22.

So this whole Guan revenge was because she sent LXX to test her husband and didn't like the result she got. I mean I get she was never meant to actually see both of them together but she was the one that started that path. At the same time she did say to stop and LXX didn't listen and went all the way to their house.

All done. My main reason for wanting to watch it was the leads cause I liked both of them and was looking forward to seeing them together. Then the teasers started coming out and I was excited for this dark enemy to lovers romance but sadly we didn't actually get much of the actual romance. What little we got, to me, felt very one sided. For most of the drama I didn't feel like she loved him and with how he manipulated things I could understand why she wouldn't but I was to believe that she did. Yes she helped him and even got punished for it but it still felt like something was missing. So if I put aside the romance and focused on everything else, I did enjoy the drama and don't regret watching it.

He has mentioned before that his screen time is not much so to not expect to see his character a lot. We already knew that since before the drama started.

But the body was found and she identified it. If it's a boyfriend then I would say the one that died abroad in a bombing or something like that has a better chance of faking his death.

It's been about 2 weeks since that boating accident so if he had gotten plastic surgery he would still have bruises and bandages on his face.

From what I heard he didn't want children and she was chosen for him but didn't want to be so they were both drugged.

I thought that hidden person in the mountains that watched FCY and YQQ get attacked was QM but that scene at the restaurant makes me think I was wrong. He quickly hid his reaction but he looked surprised to see her, like he couldn't believe he finally found her. He also had a reaction when she didn't know who he was. I know they don't end up together in the novel because he is a true villain but I'm kinda hoping they change things a bit and have him not be too villain. In just that one scene together I felt so much chemistry so a part of me wants them together. Also, Deng Kai looks 🔥🔥🔥

Talking about hotness, YZ when he was beating up that guy. I had to rewatch that scene a few times.

Was the Princess in the novel? If she was, did she get her happy ending with Gongsun?

The actor Deng Kai is playing the white/gray hair guy that was at the restaurant at the end of ep 11.
