Are we going to have the younger couple get pregnant after a night of drinking? That seems to be one of the go to plots from writers to get the family to accept a couple.
What do I do? I can't really get into watching it after "No Gain, No Love" aired and raised the bar too high 😅
Everyone is free to comment whatever they want, but I really don't get these kind of comments. The answer to your question is pretty obvious and doesn't require someone telling you...but since you asked, if you can't get into this drama then you stop watching it and focus on the one that does. No one is forcing anyone to watch something that doesn't catch their attention.
the SML mother is crazy why is she doing that to her own son like what's wrong with dating and being around single…
Her husband cheated on her and now she doesn't want any single woman anywhere near her husband and son. When the time comes she'll probably pick a bride for her son and just have him show up to his own wedding.
I didn't know I would love HY and JU together this much. They supposedly don't like each other but they still end up caring about each other. He even went out of his way to give her that perfect proposal by using the stuff he knows she likes. I do think JU has liked her for a while even though he does find her annoying so I'm curious to know what happened in the past.
I knew JU wasn't the boy we saw on the flashback from the first episode like some were thinking, but it totally flew by me that there were so many other children coming and going from HY's house that he might be a different child we haven't seen. Because of the age difference I'm guessing JU's time with HY's mom came after she had already moved out, but she probably visited her mom a few times and that's how JU knows her but she doesn't remember him.
JY and HJ finally saw each other again, but at the same time GH has finally discovered the author BR. Here we have GH leaving that very negative comment and yet he stayed up all night reading it. I'm already loving the second couple. It'll be interesting with the mom too cause she's a fan but she's also stopping her grown up son from dating at all.
I'm even more convinced the mistress is JU's bio mom and he and GH will end up being half brothers.
I know some are hating on SH for the way he's behaving, but I kinda get him. He had feelings for her for so many years but at some point he was able to lock them away and move on with his life. Now SR is back and those feelings that he locked away have come out. He mentioned he had a hard time because of his feelings for her. He would get nauseous and dizzy. I also can't help but imagine his flight back to Korea after having his heart broken.
If he hadn't gone back to get his wallet he wouldn't have heard SR say she still loves her ex. Without hearing that and her saying she wouldn't go back to the time before breaking her engagement, SH might have actually gotten the courage to confess his feelings. BUT he heard it, SR still loves her ex (which is understandable, feelings don't immediately go away) so in this case he feels like he might have imagined that change in her and took away that possibility of him confessing.
Now he feels like he has no chance at all and he knows how difficult it was to hide his feelings so he doesn't want to go through that again. He keeps trying to keep a distance from SH just until he can sort out his feelings and thoughts because he doesn't want to lose their friendship but she won't leave him alone. SR being SR keeps barging into his life like she always does because she has no idea what he's going through. It's not like he can explain to her why he needs time away from her because that would mean confessing his feelings which is the thing he's trying to avoid. So he's frustrated all the time and I guess angry. Then there's that one scene where SR says she knows everything about him which sets him off because she doesn't know everything, if she did she would've noticed what was very obvious to even their friend ME (the letter was confirmation to what she already suspected).
Not saying it's wrong to hate on him right now cause everyone sees things differently. I'm just saying I get where he's coming from. It's just my opinion. I just hate that maybe just maybe SH would've finally confessed to SR if her ex hadn't shown up because looking at the preview he arrives during that conversation. At least now SR suspects and just needs to confirm it.
This is when I wish I was good at writing down my thoughts and feelings so I can truly show just how much I'm loving this drama.
I liked seeing more of the parents. We got a small glimpse of what could be the problem between SH and his family, mainly his mom. I also knew something happened with those 2 guys at the restaurant and was waiting for them to show us and it's what I imagined. Glad at least this helped SR's dad to vent and finally say out loud how he's been feeling. Now hopefully her parents' relationship has become stronger than it was.
Glad it didn't take long for SR to read the letter. This was the push she needed to start putting 2 and 2 together. Realize why SH has been trying to put some distance between. Although, SH is right that they're not children anymore so they can't be acting like they used to, they really do need their privacy.
Loved the scene with SH and DH. He has had feelings for SR for so many years and he's had to keep everything inside, at least now he had someone he could share this with. I know it seems bad how he's been treating SR these last few days, but he really does need to have that distance from her so he can sort out his feelings and what he's going to do...but she's always there.
SR confronted SH so he could finally say what she now suspects but we know he won't get to answer. I knew the ex was going to show up at some point, but of course he had to do it in the middle of their conversation so now we have to wait.
I don't know why, but I found myself crying with the whole DJ situation. I felt so bad for him. Throughout the whole drama he has been the one character that has always been good and his reputation went down the drain in a matter of minutes. Even with them returning the money MJ took and saying DJ had nothing to do with it, MR's family is going to have a hard time believing it and trusting him again. MJ just continues destroying her children's lives.
I know many are hating on DS for always staying with his mom, but I kind of get it. Yes, he knows everything MJ did to DR and that should've been enough to completely cut her off his life. But, as the oldest, he was the only one that actually got to know his mom when she was a good person, he witnessed how hardworking she was, how hard she tried to support her family. He was also the one who witnessed the moment his mom's life took a bad turn. He knew her playing cards was not a good idea, but it was the one hobby her mom had after a difficult day and he has that guilt of not stopping her. After so many years he still had that hope and still wanted to believe his mom, the good one, would come back but now that she ruined DJ's life he finally accepted that his good mom is never coming back, that she's too far gone to change back. I truly do hope all 3 of them cut her off their lives. And as hurtful as it would've been they should've had her arrested for stealing the gold.
My god the nerve of AK to go off on SY about JT wanting to adopt PS and saying she probably planned it all when she's the one hiding the truth about JD. I really want that truth to come out already. I want to see that annoying aunt get a heart attack when she finds out JD is not the bio son of the chairman.
Well at least they haven't broken up PS and DR and since we have a few episodes left I hope it doesn't happen. I want them to stay together and fight together against everyone because there are too many.
When JT said he wanted to adopt PS I was already thinking he probably wouldn't want him to marry JY since they're the type to have arranged marriages, but at least in this case PS can always reject getting adopted if they want to separate him from JY.
SH going to the US to finally confess his feelings but getting his heart broken because SR is already dating someone. My heart broke for him too.
We got to see SH fighting with his feelings because he wants to move on and deny that he still has them. That only happens because he overheard SR saying she was still in love with her ex, if he hadn't he most likely wouldn't have tried so hard to keep a distance.
We had a couple of moments in previous episodes where we can see SR felt something for SH (the scene in her bed and the almost kiss in her dorm) but in this episode we can see she's noticing him again. That shocking moment in her brother's room is like the awakening that he's not her "baby." The way she looked at him when he was doing the pottery. She's noticing as a man now and not just the son of her mom's friend.
I liked the cameo of his ex girlfriend because it actually helped moved the story forward. Most of the time SR was comfortable around his ex, but there were moments where she was bothered by their closeness. The ex helped SR realized or at least point out just how much she enjoys cooking so SR finally finds her new dream. The ex also helps SH accept how it's always been SR for him. He finally accepts his feelings and how there's no way to avoid it. His feelings will always be there for SR.
We finally got confirmation that the little girl is DH's daughter. I do understand ME is a paramedic and was angry at finding the little girl all alone while being sick, but she just went off on him without truly knowing what his situation is. I do look forward to seeing how their story develops even more now that she knows the little girl she likes so much is his daughter
I haven't watched any of the episode, but when season 1 was out I kept seeing edits of Steve Noh's character with the FL. Today I'm seeing clips of his last episode. Out of curiosity, how many years was he in prison? And what exactly did he die off?
I thought the tie pin was a gift given sometime after HW disappeared but it's a wedding gift. I was going to say he could lie about wearing it the day HW disappeared but I'm guessing she probably remembers him wearing it 25 years ago.
I understand MR wants to make up for lost time, but she shouldn't be too pushy. WR needs time, even more because he grew up with a loving and happy family.
I'm guessing NY is going to tell MR something along the lines of having SJ move in will be very uncomfortable for her and the baby because of her history with SJ and HS history with her too. But instead of MR understanding, she'll instead suggest for her and HS to move out and have their own house. That's when HS will get angry with NY for telling his mom not to have WRSJ move in.
Another satisfying moment waiting for us on Monday when HS leaves NY all alone and in pain. She has manipulated him so many times with her belly pains that now that she might actually need help he won't believe her. But this also opens up the possibility of her ending up at the ER and HS being forced to do what she wants to save the baby. Unless he truly doesn't care anymore...not that he has ever fully accepted the baby.
What did the doctor say about the baby? Any hints that she'll make it to term?
