I watched the drama and it always leaves me with a good feeling, but then I come here and read some comments of people feeling the complete opposite. For me they're doing a great job telling the story cause it feels very real to me. Sorry for those that wanted just a romcom when the actors have always said this isn't just romance, it's a healing drama that it's not just focused on the leads.
Episode 10 was one of the best ones. Now that everyone knows and that SR closed a chapter of her life with her ex she's able to start healing with the support of her family and friends.
the fl ilness arc is such a plot hole , like do people not facetime there parents or like the guadrian signature…
Not everyone facetime. Her parents don't even look like they would know how to. She also told her mom she just started a project and it's going to be very busy. There's a 16 hour time difference so even a regular phone call can be difficult so that takes care of the parents not finding out.
I don't know if its different anywhere else but here in the US, if you're an adult you don't need a guardian or their signature. She's 30 years old not a child so she's able to make her own decisions about the surgery and treatment.
As for not telling her family and friends. Why worry them? They live so far away and can't do anything for her. Her parents and probably SH would want to drop everything and move to the US to be by her side. SR would not want that. She wouldn't want them to leave everything for her.
Choi Seung Hyo catching a medical report peeking out of Seok Ryu's bag and reading it after telling her to leave…
Yes. It bothered many that he took the report and read it, but the letter was also something very personal but I didn't really see many being bothered by it.
I loved episode 9. We got to see more of what SR's life was like in the US. I don't hate the ex so I don't mind seeing him. The flashbacks helps us see how they did love each other and he was there for her, but things started changing. It was a dark time in her life but through the treatment she kept trying to stay positive, but then depression set in. Her relationship took a turn. She hit rock bottom.
Even though she's better and the cancer is gone there's always that fear it would come back. That's why she rejected SH. Not because she doesn't have feelings but because she doesn't want to put him through the same thing she went through with her ex if the cancer comes back.
Looking forward to seeing ep 10 now that her family knows what she kept a secret.
Never believed LS tried to kill his brother and I was right.
We only have 3 episodes left but I feel like there's still too many things going on. LG still doesn't know about the experiment and JY's part in it. He doesn't know about JY not being his first love. This is something that will cause a breakup...again. He'll probably find out by the end of ep 14 and they'll leave the reconciliation for the last few minutes of ep 16.
Is he Kim Kang Hoon from When The Camellia Blooms, Racket Boys and Goodbye Earth?
No, it's a different actor but I can't remember his name or what dramas he's been on. I remember him playing the bully in school but no matter how much I truy I can't remember which drama.
Ok I get why they don't want DR and DY to date and mad that they dated in secret (although they're both adults so it's up to them, but whatever) but as a sister I wouldn't just stand there and watch someone hit my brother with a broom. They can be mad all they want and let them know how against the relationship they are, but keep the broom away. They were children when the mess happened and didn't know anything when they fell in love so it's not easy to end a relationship when the feelings are still there.
We're getting close to finding out the truth about the tie pin. Probably not this week, but hopefully early next week
I was waiting for JU and GH to meet and it didn't disappoint. I'm glad to see they hit it off right away. I don't think GH will end up turning against JU once the truth it's out.
The chairman organizing the dinner so he can find out personal stuff about HY, his new daughter in law and of course meet his son. Glad that JU already suspects the chairman is his father and was able to indirectly call him an a$...now he just needs confirmation. The biggest problem will be the wife.
I loved the confession too. I can definitely believe that's what attracted JU to HY so I hope he doesn't take it back once they're alone.
I thought it would take longer for JY to warm up to GH, but the change is already visible. She's noticing him more and even smiling at the picture he sent her.
I never understood why a current girlfriend would get jealous or act jealous for stuff the boyfriend did in his previous relationship...that is in the past. In this case Star seems perfectly happy hanging out with Sera and having Lune join in. If she's worried about something happening between them then don't spend so much time with her.
That scene at Sera's house...Lune didn't lie about going upstairs to the bathroom, but he should've told Star about his conversation with Sera. They both agreed to keep the relationship secret, but since they told a complete stranger from school they can agree to tell Sera too and that way they avoid this whole misunderstanding.
Looks more and more like White and Ivy will be a couple. I like their chemistry so I'm looking forward to seeing if that's the route they take.
