Can someone who has read the novel clarify when he realizes she is 406? Does he start piecing it together after…
He starts suspecting it might be her when they find out the one calling him is a woman. He tries to compare the voice from her video to the one from the phone calls after they remove the voice modulator. He confirms it's her when she has an accident after they all went hiking since she ends up having to use the kidnapper's phone to call him for help but even after he knows its her he continues to play along so she can keep calling him every night
With 20 episodes down the countdown has started for me since we have 16 episodes left. If they want DR and GJ to end up together she needs to start showing some interest soon and stop going after a guy that has told her multiple times that he only sees her as a sister.
Looks like DR will catch GJ trying to take the money and the whole preview will end up being her imagination of what will happen to her mom and grandparents if the police finds out. I actually do hope GJ succeeds in getting the money. Honestly the mom and grandparents are not even trying to be careful with the way they keep spending that money when before everyone knew they were barely making ends meet.
I can't seem to warm up to the older fl. There's nothing about her that I'm liking. Honestly the only reason I keep coming back is for the scenes in the past. It's the younger actors that I keep wanting to watch. I just hope those scenes are not coming to an end yet.
so, from the preview - they still don't communicate, why? he still looked surprised when she screams his name,…
If they follow the novel he won't find out she's the one calling him yet, but he starts suspecting. He looks surprised because it's his first time hearing her say his name.
At what interval did he find out she could speak?! Like was it before the interview or after the interview. When…
What her mom made her go through cause her to have selective mutism. So she's not actually able to speak all the time or around certain people/situations
is there some secret that the mom didn't want fl to reveal and that's why she was forced to pretend to be mute?
No, they show us in ep 3 that HJ was the only one unharmed in the accident while the real children of the chairman were hurt so the mom needed her to be hurt too so the chairman would pity them and not send them away.
I know some were wondering about the sign language and on the ep 1-2 commentary with the cast that was released today Soo Bin mentioned that she had to learn Korean SL. Then she had to learn foreign SL and she mentioned that SL for the news is also different so she had to learn that too.
The only thing I didn’t fully understand is the conflict between two families.SJW’s father and YJW’s grandfather…
Yea, they used actors that are only 7 years apart so they don't really look like the part but anyway! because the grandparents are enemies that gets passed down to the rest of the family members so the father needs to continue where his father left off.
I felt so bad for GJ this episode. I want him to actually get away from that family and company. I want him to build something for himself and show them he doesn't need them.
How old is the teacher that rejected her supposed to be? Cause if we're going for an age gap maybe an older actor would've been better. Not that it matters since he's not the ML.

I do hope they find out the truth soon and not wait until after the mid point.
