Ohm has a easier time portraying his character, while Fluke's character is more complex, but he has a lot of potential…
Yup! You nailed it right on the head. I call that pacing issues.
Even the scene outside of Dean's bedroom his brother and sister just lingered there for so long I was getting restless/annoyed.
UWMA is definitely the most unique BL story airing right now. However it fails due to the pacing, the music, the lack of directing and all the freaking STARES!
I feel for Pete honestly, everyone keeps acting like he's at fault and he's done nothing but support Kao, even…
Yup. Everyone acts (even his friends) as if Pete is the bad guy here while Kao isn't without fault. I felt that their relationship was one sided too... Kao acted as if he didn't want to be part of it... that's what I got from all the constant pushing when Pete wanted to be close physically.
I agree he should, but not for the reasons Pete was saying and how he went about it.
I agree and disagree with you
Yes Pete was behaving selfishly... yes their relationship in DBK is completely one sided... but like on both sides
What I saw was Kao constantly pushing Pete away whenever Pete tried to get close physically. It just felt like a non-consensual relationship. Personally coupled with Kao being deep in the closet explained Pete's insecurities to me.
Kao should have NEVER made that promise, especially knowing he wasn't going to keep it. The moment he did he became the one at fault no matter Pete's (immature a**) reason for hating Non. Honestly they never gave us a REAL reason for Pete to hate Non which made the originally argument seem foolish...
DBK PeteKao def aren't compatible. I almost wished that they had broken up and dated others... they need time apart to grow separately... but we're at episode 10 so we all know that aint gonna happen.
Can we talk about the ONE thing DBK did right this week? They had a gay couple talking about legalized gay marriage in Thailand and termed it as GOALS!! REVOLUTIONARY!!!!
@anchorenomore I agree with u on that. Unfortunately i also understand the reason why Kao choosed to that path.…
Yup! He had many different opportunities to rectify things... But lets say he didn't... lets say saying no to the director was really damaging. We know Kao lost most of his students save Manow... that STILL doesn't explain his not telling Non NO from the beginning. Had he done that and Non still crossed the line he could have walked away then... Also he didn't have to lie to his BF about it...
YUP!And he should have had the convo he had with Non today 6 episodes ago!
My dear friend pointed out the original trailer that was released over a year ago... and I went back to watch the trailers. Man oh man... we were mislead and lied to! The original trailer was so fluffy and promised something that was NOT delivered. Even the revised trailer after the show was actually filmed promised something it failed to deliver.
Yes Pete was wrong at first. He was acting entitled, and spoiled, stubborn and selfish... but that has been his character.... the magic between them was that Kao knows this and was able to handle him properly. DBK Kao turned into this too nice push over it seemed... I could have still worked with that. (Perhaps his first gay relationship made him lose his edge, and he now feels pressured by society blah blah... cool) but not only did he become a pushover he became extremely dense and stupid.
The anniversary/camp episode was episode 7. This misunderstanding/lie should not have been dragged to 10 freaking episodes. It would have been one thing if Non was trying to ruin their relationship after Kao made it clear... but I can go as far as saying Kao led him on... he KNEW Non liked him. Non made that clear... Kao evaded, and side stepped it for 8-9 episodes. He NEVER had to say/admit he was with Pete. He never had to say he was gay... He simply had to say he was "taken" and put a firm boundary between him and his student.
Heck at the camp, that note he left Non could arguably be a sign that he is interested. He said Non wasn't too young... Kao WTF
You're right! I'm irritated with the friend intervention only enough to make it so that the misunderstanding continues. Like what? I think Sandee was always more Pete's friend BUT even at the bar, they could have asked why aren't you answering Pete... or Hey do you like Non? ANYTHING
YUP the thing that made me ship PeteKao so hard is missing in DBK
Ugh I can seriously write so much more to convey my displeasure... but I'll stop here.
Non is the way he is. Kao already suspects him... yet he allows Non unsupervised access to his phone Leaves Non (who is also in the closet) to explain what happened to his dad and walks away... Kao how stupid are you? You are literally ruining your own life... The conversation with Non should have taken place 6-7 episodes ago.
Trash script! UGH!
I just don't see this being cleanly wrapped up in just 2 more episodes. Granted the last 3 episodes (Just some parts of the anniversary episode really) have been more watchable than the rest of the previous eps... but *ugh* nvm I'm tired of complaining.
So... can we talk about how much SWAG Techno-- I mean Gun had in his scene! Phew... Fluke looks good with anyone. Mean, Plan, Gun! I can ship any of that combination lol
Also woah Dean wins the swagger trophy for his little smirk after their kiss.
and because I can I will complain that I need more WinTeam! If you cut back on all the dragged on scenes we could have had full WinTeam. I'm just saying!

Yes Manow needs her distraction NOW so she can stop fangirling over PharmDean and PharmAlex lol
I just like everyone else who wishes too can complain if we'd like
The show promised WinTeam as a couple and had I not read their novel it would not be clear at all so... Hun just scroll pass if things bothers you...
Don't let people behind a keyboard rile you up ok?
